Risking my life for a BREYER Model Horse Unboxing

Hello! These circumstances are a little bit strange. I'm feeling a little bit sweaty at the moment. There's times in life where you realize that you may in fact be crazy, and this is one of those moments. So I apologize if my energy levels are a little bit lower in this particular video. Two days ago I had wisdom tooth surgery, so if my face looks really swollen, that's why. If my voice sounds funny, that's why. I have like 10 stitches in my mouth right now. I feel fine. I'm a little bit sweaty. I'm just trying to take it easy and not do anything crazy. Part of my recovery and what would really make me feel better in this moment is unboxing all these models that arrived, so I forced myself to look semi-presentable. By the time you see this video, I'll probably have been like fully healed, but it's been a journey with said wisdom teeth, so of course within this week I received all of these boxes in the mail. Several boxes in the mail. There's not one, not two, not three, but four boxes, and I'm risking my life for you guys, and I'm willing to risk my life for you guys. This is how I would like to spend my day. I don't do very well just watching TV and sitting around. So hello! Welcome to my channel if you're new here. My name is Darren. This is DJB Studios. Masked behind the fake eyelashes. Not allowed to drink from a straw. I haven't had solid food in many days, and I've been on a lot of medications lately. We're here for the love of the Breyers. We're gonna start with this one. Wow! These two from the Stablemates Breyer Collectors Club 2024, which I did not join, so I had to find these separately. I know the surprise of this one, and I've not seen this one in person yet. It's already actually open. It's just, it's just open. You get to see it before me. This is so cute, this little box. Oh, this is Hadley and Holden, and I got the laying full version of Holden. This happens to be one of my favorite Breyer Stablemate molds, so I kind of agreed to take these from this particular person before knowing which one was gonna be here. I actually do appreciate that it is that one. And then this one... Oh wow! So cute! This is Augustus. So this is sculpted by Sarah Mink. It's the new sculpture, so it's like the final one of the club year. He's really cute. He's like in a rendition of one of her resins, and he's really lovely. I do believe he'll be staying as OF just because I really like him. I've ordered way too many Stablemates from this particular person. I'm funding many people's mortgages at this point, and this is a bunch of Stablemates. Quite a few in here, so... Stablemates are my new addiction, and it's a problem, and I've been buying way too many of them, but they're just, they're so much fun. And I have a new Stablemate shelf now, so I can just expand. So this is the World Equestrian Games Paradressage in Palomino. I actually had this one. I've had this horse a couple times, actually, and I sold it because I didn't love it. This copy is super, super crisp and clean and really nice, and I will likely keep her now because she actually looks good. Oh, this one's cool too. This is another Paradressage, but this one is in grula. I believe this is a JCPenney Parade of Breeds in olive-y grula color. Really, really nice. You don't see this one come up for sale very often. I really adore this mold. I want to have, like, a little conga on it. Another little Lange baby for my Lange baby conga. I don't know who he is. And a little chestnut one. I have a soft spot for the standing full mold as well. He's really cute. Look at these guys. They look like a little family. And then this one is one of those ones that I bought, and then I was like, did I really need to buy that? I don't know that I did. It's a vintage Lange foal, and it's in Appaloosa, and I thought he was cute, but I don't know. I don't know that that's a mold that I will be collecting. Some of these stablemates I buy and I see in person, and then I decide to sell them later. I'm picky. I'm picky about my stablemates. I may not look like it, but I am. Love this mold. This is one of the best molds. He's just so handsome. This is, like, a really nice dark bae. I have his friend here. His friend is cool. Yes. Love it. I can't really emote a ton with my face right now. I'm excited. I'm really happy that I feel like I have Botox in my cheeks. He's super cute. I really like when Breyer does this, like, kind of randomized dappling. It's always been one of my favorite things, so. I have an extensive conga on that mold as well, and this is a really weird one. So, I don't know who this is, but I don't actually know who this is. This is a running Mustang, and it's a buckskin color, and he's really pretty. He almost looks like the Saddle Club Starlight model, but he's not, and I don't know where he came from. He's not an identifier Breyer. He's really funky looking, so I was really excited to get him as well, but I don't know the history behind this one. So, that's my little herd from there. I guess we can include these two in the back. Might as well just make it, like, a little stack, and then we'll go to the next one. This final big one is the most exciting, so we'll leave that till the end. This is, like, duct taped. Fun stuff happening here. Wow. A little baby. A little baby. I actually, I've been calling this horse Lettie, but I don't think it is Lettie. I think it's Addie. Little glossy foal. I really like the glossy stablemate. She's actually really cute. All right, this is the reason I purchased all of this in the first place. Ta-da! Classic Arabian foal Impalamino. I will probably be selling her because I bought this horse, and then, like, two days after, I found a mint new in box set on eBay with both of the foals that I was looking for in it. So, I unfortunately didn't really need to buy this one, but I don't think I'll have a problem getting rid of her or customizing her, but she's really nice. I probably won't customize her. I'm very excited to have this one. I really like this mold. This is the second to last one that I need for my little conga. She's actually a really pretty color in person. This is Appy Days, and Appy Days was something I don't remember, but I love myself a good leopard Appaloosa, and I don't have anything on this mold, and I've always kind of liked this mold. I thought he was kind of cute. The markings are super crisp, actually, so it was a little bit impulsive. I do actually like him quite a bit, but this is the moment we've been waiting for here. This is, like, containing one of my very last holy grails on my wish list. Like, I have a wish list still, and it's definitely paring down. I mean, I have a ton of horses. I can't fit any more horses. It's been an extensive wish list of, like, really rare horses, hard to find horses, and I've been ticking them off really easily lately, and I don't know if that's just because I don't care anymore, and I'm just spending the money, or they've just been coming up for sale. And so this person had this horse. I inquired on it quite a while ago, and it was on hold, or it was pending payments, and then she re-reached out and said, it's actually available again, would you like to buy it? And I said, well, obviously I have to. So I'm very, very excited, but I also did a little bit of an impulse, and I also got a lot more stablemates. So this box contains a lot of fun goodies. So good, we gotta stand up. Oh, but then you'll see that I'm wearing pajamas. This is like one of those Zoom calls where it's like, you were only supposed to see this much of me and know that I'm not in my pajamas. I'm gonna, like, take out the stuff that's exciting. We're gonna start with the littles. We're saving the best for last. Oh my goodness. Let's just get into it. Rip it open. A cute little black Shetland pony. I love molds just in straight black because I feel like it better shows off the mold, and I like this mold. Add him to the stash. Wow. Glossy goodness. I don't know that I can pronounce the name of this horse, but it was the Icelandic Pony Premier Club, and this was like the mini stablemate version of that Premier horse, and he came in glossy, and he's very, very hard to find, so I'm very excited to have him. Wow, another one for my little conga. Some of these guys I find don't look as nice in pictures just because they're so small, but then when you see them in person, you're like, oh, they're so cute. This is one of those. It's a little cute Pintaloosa. I don't remember the name, but it's another one on this mold. I have like a little trio happening now. An Appaloosa Reininghorse. Love it. I really like the spots that they do where they're just kind of randomized. Like I said before, I love the Reiner molds. So fun. And a glossy Diesel. This is Diesel. He was a Collector Club special run. I think like the randomized one. He's like almost like metallic-y. He's actually super cool. I do have a little Reiner conga happening here. Another randomized Appaloosa. This is the Tennessee Walking Horse who has that stupid brand across her belly, but she's cool too. This one is called Sylvester, I believe his name is. He's okay. I don't know that he'll stay. His dapples are kind of lumpy. Not sure on him, but he's the glossy jumper. I really like the glossies on the Littles. Ooh, yeah, she's nice. Wow. Pocket Barn Tennessee Walking Horse. Lovely. Pretty hard to find that one as well. Corbin, I believe his name is. Super glossy, super cute. I actually do like him quite a bit. I like this mold, but like glossy usually does it for me. Being Overrun by Littles. Oh, I'm excited about this one. This is the jumper I've been needing. Yes. Love that color. Very nice. This is the Kmart special run jumper. That's a really pretty color on that mold. And glossy Alborozo Appaloosa. Love it. Valerio, I think his name is. And the last one is already in the box. Wheeler. A really pretty glossy bae on the kit mold. Really actually very cute. Really like the glossiness. All right, so those are all of the Stablemates. I love all of them except for this one. I think he'll probably not be staying here. I'm very excited to add them to the shadow box. This was a very impulsive purchase. I've always loved this model and this copy was just so good. And I just said, screw it. I'm just gonna do it. Treat yourself. Not that I haven't been treating myself. And that is why we treat ourselves. Wow. I don't remember how to say this horse's name. I want to say Calicahari. I'm not sure. The Marwari mold is not my favorite, but this was the original one that came out on the mold. And I just am such a sucker for this really pretty bae color. And then the mapping and just the markings, the way that they are. I love this horse. This is a really pretty horse. This collection is getting out of control. It's so nice. There's so many nice horses. And this one will take the cake somehow. This is even better and more exciting than this. This is a holy grail. It's been many years seeking this horse. You're getting the full ASMR right up in there with that mic. Guys. Guys. Oh my goodness. I love how I resort to singing even though I cannot sing. Holy cannoli. This is a cannoli. I'm gonna name him cannoli. Briarfest 2018. I've wished for this horse. This is Churchill. He is a Briarfest volunteer. Back when the volunteer horses were more rare, they're becoming more and more common nowadays because they give out the same ones at Briarwest that they do at Briarfest. Can you hear my dog drinking upstairs? Obviously I am a lover of the Otheo mold and obviously I'm a lover of anything buckskin. Pinch me. I must be dreaming. This is insane. I am so thankful for all of this. This made me feel a lot better. Not gonna lie, I am pretty tired though. I do think I need to go lay down now but this is very very exciting moment and I'm so glad I got to open these guys with you and I can't wait to throw them up on the wall and showcase them all in their glory.
