We are about to push the world's first twin-turbo GT3 RS to the limit.
On your marks, get set, go!
In the absence of a Porsche 992 GT2 RS,
the masterminds at ES Motor have taken things into their own hands.
This is a massive milestone.
From 500bhp to almost 900bhp.
Today I present to you the car Porsche should have made.
So Amir, tell us what we're looking at right here.
So we are looking at a GT3 RS with twin turbos.
We wanted to retain the GT3 noise.
Yeah, so there's no wastegate.
Yeah, because the wastegate, when it kicks in, you know, the sound changes a lot.
So I don't want to do that.
But of course, it's optional.
We can dump it to the atmosphere as well.
Headers are stainless steel and the other stuff with the exhaust is titanium.
Temperatures that go through the headers are very, very high.
And then they crack the steels.
What you really want on headers is titanium for an X5.
The GT3 RS is an amazing car from the factory.
It's very, very capable on the track.
However, the last few generations, the power increase hasn't been massive.
You commonly see or hear people saying now, they sound great.
And of course, on a track where they come alive, they're very fast.
But on the road, they're not actually that fast.
You've got to really rev them.
And what we've noticed, a lot of the owners who have jumped into the 992 GT3 RS,
they're not necessarily track guys, like full-on track guys.
They might have come from something like a Huracan before or something like that,
because this car looks special.
Yes.
And it is up there in that category where you'll turn heads like you would with a Lambo or Ferrari or something.
Sure.
But it hasn't got the out-and-out performance like one of those.
No.
If you put an NA Huracan against one of these, the Huracan's faster.
Sure.
Stock for stock.
It'll just smash in a straight line.
Yeah.
So we just wanted to add what Porsche should have done.
Should have done.
They might be doing now.
Well, this is the interesting thing.
Let's take a quick step back.
With the last few generations of the 911 GT cars,
the range has generally went something like this.
The GT3, naturally aspirated, light, raw and usable on the road and track.
The GT3 RS aims more at on-track performance, naturally aspirated, massive downforce,
stiffer suspension and an all-round sharper setup.
And finally, the GT2 RS, the fastest, most brutal in the lineup.
Imagine the GT3 RS on steroids, turbocharged, track-focused and razor-sharp.
But here's the thing.
Over three years since the 992 GT3 RS hit the market,
although there's been whispers, rumours and possible sightings,
we're still yet to get a 992 GT2 RS.
This one piece here is the water tank.
It's the water pump.
It sucks the water and then pushes through this.
The radiator.
The radiator is first.
Let me show you.
Through here.
Yeah.
And then after the radiator is cooled, it's coming here.
It cools down the charge cooler and then goes back to the tank.
It's like a closed system.
Nice.
No radiators.
Nothing.
There are talks of the new one being turbocharged.
But look, there's a caveat.
The GT2 RS is an amazing car, but it's a different type of engine.
The GT3 RS that's going to come out with twin turbos, if they do it,
is also going to be a different engine.
The main part of this engine is the characteristics of the sound.
Sure.
It revs to 9,000 RPM as well.
Yes.
You're not going to get that with a GT2 RS or with a twin turbo factory built GT3 RS.
The main reason, emissions.
Yes.
So because of EU regulations, they can't build them like they do with this.
And obviously, this is a high compression engine from factory.
So putting turbos onto this engine just changes the drive.
It's a completely different car as well.
Yes.
Although it's an RS with turbos, which technically does make it a GT2 RS,
but it's very, very different in terms of its characteristics.
It could technically be the ultimate because the sound really lets the newer Porsche turbo models down.
Whether it's 911 turbo, whether it will be the GT2 RS or GT3 RS being turbocharged,
the noise and the characteristics of the engine let it down, which is why people love this.
Now, one thing that we've been getting is, oh, you put turbos on it,
you've taken away from the NA sound and the characteristics,
which hopefully we will be able to show people today.
We haven't.
Talk us through some tech specs.
You spoke about the high compression engine.
Talk us through the engine, build a turbo kit, gearbox, anything that's been changed.
So this is a complete bolt-on setup.
So you could go crazy and build the engine, but then you'd lower the compression ratio and it would just change it.
There's no point in doing that to this car, in our opinion anyway.
What we wanted to do was just make it something that's just a level above OEM,
that somebody can take to the track and be very effective, but enjoy it on the road as well.
So we've used Turbosmart 6466 turbos, quite large turbos with minimal boost.
They run very efficiently.
We're controlling that via a Cyvex OEX system, and that also is integrated into the Canbus system,
and we are also controlling the methanol injection with that as well.
So it's pretty cool.
So we have switchable maps on that, so you can adjust the boost, as well as different fueling maps.
So if somebody wanted to run a race fuel setup, they could do so.
You just flip the map switch and there you go.
I love that.
And do you know what the thing is?
Going back to it, I think people at home need to remember that these GT3s in stock form,
I think Bridge to Gantry, Nurburgring, were the fastest production car?
Yeah, the 992, yeah.
And that's at the 500 and whatever brake horsepower.
Correct, 525.
What power does this make now?
So this one, at the minute, we maxed it out at 768 at the wheels.
At the wheels?
At the wheels, yeah.
What is that in our British horsepower?
In British horsepower, it works out to be 870.
Whoa, 872 brake horsepower.
That's insane.
I have a GT3 RS.
So you gave this car over 300 brake horsepower more than factory.
Yes.
The track guys must be salivating now.
Is that the word?
Yeah.
Because think how much faster you could go in this car with the right pilot.
That's it, exactly.
Around the track.
I think it will be insane.
Just driving on the roads.
You'll see when you drive it.
Yeah.
The way it handles just is amazing.
And now the response and the power that's just there all the way through is epic.
Bro, I think we need to show them what this car is about, 100%.
So let's get into it.
But before that, check this out.
I'm super gassed as, along with the guys from Autoresin,
we're about to change my tired small garage into something I'm super proud to keep my pride and joy in.
Regardless of what you drive, keeping your pride and joy stored in a special place always makes things that much better.
Introducing Autoresin, the market leaders in bespoke resin floors,

When I approached them for one of their custom marble resin floors,
they said, let's take it one step further and do a complete garage makeover.
And I said, hell yeah.
And just like that, Autoresin have created one of the most incredible man caves that I've ever owned.
I am absolutely blown away with the floor and everything they have done in this incredible garage makeover.
Just take a look at my one-off bespoke marble resin floor in black pearl and aluminium.
The McLaren is going to look absolutely crazy in this garage.
And honestly, I have never seen a marble resin floor look as good as this.
Not only will they take your garage or home to the next level, they've just opened their very own academy.
And I wanted to give my viewers at home who are looking for a new opportunity

make sure you check the links down below in the description and also check out their academy.
And once again, a massive thank you and shout out to Autoresin
for creating one of the craziest marble resin floors that I have ever seen.
All right. So, first start up.
You can hear the turbo.
You can just hear it whistling outside.
So this exhaust is also a valve exhaust.
So that's sport.
That's normal, yeah.
And just this interior, this environment.
To start with, guys, this race car, man.
It's such a beautiful place to be.
Alcantara everywhere.
You know, the bucket seats, the carbon fibre cage.
And now with those twin turbos spooling up in the back, bro.
It's fighting jet, fighting, bro.
Like, this is crazy.
It actually does sound like a...
You know those old school race cars?
Yeah.
You hear the turbo sort of whistling and the way it's about...
It's like a jet about to take off almost.
And I see what you're saying about the throttle.
It's quite light or quite heavy.
So basically, in terms of the throttle, what we've done is...
From factory, the throttle is...
Say you're at 20% throttle with your pedal.
It will open it at like 50% throttle.
Sure.
So with the extra power, we want the driver to be more in control.
Sure.
So we've made the throttle more one-to-one.
So you're more in tune with the car.
That makes sense.
And you're more in control of the power rather than, you know,
the car overpowering you in a corner or something like that.
Yeah, catching you out, spiking.
Exactly.
Which is a key thing.
Because I guess track heads will argue how linear the GT3 RS is from factory.
Exactly, that's right, yeah.
You know where you're at all times.
Yeah.
I mean, let's inch on the power a little bit.
The turbo!
The sound, isn't it?
It's mad, right?
That's crazy.
There's quite a lot of stones on this runway, guys.
Yeah, I know.
Clattering around, which isn't ideal.
But at the same time, the sound of this car and the turbos are crazy.
So...
That sounds gnawing as hell, bro.
It's insane, isn't it?
It's just a whole...
This is what I'm saying.
It's a whole experience, you know, everything.
Let me roll into it then.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Go for it, yeah?
Right, let's see what it's got.
This is mental!
It's faster, isn't it?
It's just faster.
Exactly, yeah.
Very smooth.
It just keeps on going.
Yeah.
That feels wholesome.
That feels proper.
That's crazy, man.
Alright, so...
Get into second gear.
Bro, this moves!
This moves!
It's so blunted, though.
We're used to it.
Me and you, we're a bit spoiled with the Porsches that we've been in.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Obviously, we build much faster Porsches, but this isn't about speed.
No, no, no.
It's the whole kind of driving experience, right?
Do you know what it is, bro?
It's the drama.
Yeah.
If you're not a track guy, or if you're a track guy, it's about getting those tenths
of seconds or seconds, you know what I mean?
I mean, look, we're on a big runway, so speed is going to feel different to when you're
on the road.
For sure.
But you've seen how the power kicks in.
People were wondering about lag and stuff like that, but there's no lag.
There's no lag.
The car's just on it straight away.
It is on it.
Alright, let's...
Ha, ha, ha, ha.
Woo, hoo, hoo, hoo, hoo.
Holy moly.
Engine gears, and you're hearing it, and you're almost...
Exactly, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Do you know what I mean?
The key thing is, look, there's other companies out there that are for it, but for us, it
was making sure that everything works.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Correct, you know?
It was a lot of time and R&D put into that part of it.
Well, you find this in a lot of industries, and especially in the Porsche game.
There's a lot of chances.
There's a lot of people who come in saying they can do this, saying they can do that.
They're basically chancing it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
No proven track record.
People go to ES Motor because of the lineage, the heritage.
That's right, yeah.
The trophies won, the times you've proven things over and over again.
Exactly, yeah.
And when you finally come out with your recipe, it's right.
It just works.
You know what I mean?
It does what it's meant to do.
You know what I mean?
We're not taking no chances here.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
We're not taking no chances.
And then Amir insisted that I launch this 870bhp rear-wheel-drive twin-turbo GT3 RS.
And you know you don't have to ask me twice.
Ha, ha, ha.
Okay.
Ha, ha, ha.
All the way to the end of the road.
We're ground.
Yes, I can.
Amir!
Oh, wow.
This is the total back-end.
You know when the big carbon ceramics are like, yeah, all right, cool.
We definitely need them.
That looked like about 175 mph.
Bro, that was some speed.
Do you know what's crazy?
Also, like the aero on this top end.
Four top speed runs will slow the car down.
You know, it's got the biggest wing ever on the car.
Yeah, that's not designed for top speed.
No.
And in that mode, yeah, it's just going to be holding it back.
Now the GT3 RS is built for the corners.
And to keep it stuck to the ground, it has extreme aerodynamics.
Porsche quote, at 177 mph, it produces an insane 860 kg of downforce.
Three times the amount the 992 GT3 produces.
And that's the equivalent to having an old Honda Civic placed on your roof.
We made it to 175 mph, so this car must have been pretty much welded to the ground.
Now, unfortunately, there's no corners on this runway, but I've got an idea.
Now, we know the GT3 RS lacked the Nurburgring in 6.49 seconds,
But the question here today is how fast can it run a quarter mile in fact?
Why don't we test that whilst racing a stock one?
Let's go as Amir mentioned earlier
It's hard to gauge how fast a car is on an open runway
And I could sit here telling you how fast it is all day
But as a visual aid we're going to race the twin-turbo RS
Against a stock GT3 RS over the standing and rolling quarter mile to see how
525 bhp compares to what I'm calling the GT 2.5 RS's 860 bhp
All right Amir, so it's stock versus twin-turbo, are you ready?
I am ready bro, but make sure that I don't beat you off the line
Well my excuse is I've got more power than you
So my wheels are probably going to spin a little bit more
On your marks, get set
On your marks, get set, go
Go! Let's go!
I am gone! I am gone!
It was pulling hard bro, all I see is it just keeps on going
Let's do a third gear roll
I think a roll would be better
Yeah?
Oh man, this is so flat, come on!
Whoa!
Oh this is dead, this is dead, look at that boys, it's going
Yeehaw!
This changed upper gear to fourth and it kicked down and still left him
This was so flat, it wasn't going anywhere
Bro!
And there you have it, the world's first twin-turbo GT3 RS
and a clear comparison over stock
But what times did both cars run today on a rather gravelly runway?
Well, the stock GT3 RS managed a best time of 11.21 seconds
at a speed of 126 miles per hour
and the twin-turbo GT3 RS ran a best time of 10.59 seconds
at a speed of 143 miles per hour
The funny thing about that time is it actually now makes this
the fastest 992 GT3 RS ever over the quarter mile
and Amir assures me, on a grippier surface, this car will go a lot faster
Bro, this is so fast, you only realise how much faster this is
when you're actually racing a stock one
You know what, because I drove that one up today, yeah
and then I put my foot down in third, I'm like, what's going on?
Where is it?
It wasn't moving bro
Oh that is amazing, that is amazing bro
This is, this is epic, this is epic
Today I got to experience firsthand the world's first twin-turbo GT3 RS
and although we heavily focused on straight lines with a car built for the bends
this is a massive milestone
Before this, if you wanted to go faster in a GT3 RS
the modifications available at best were a higher flowing exhaust and a remap
with minimal gains over stock
and for the real hardcore track heads
the eye-wateringly expensive revised aero kit from the likes of Manti
But now, thanks to ES Motor, the trailblazers in the Porsche tuning world
there's a serious solution
I can only imagine what times this car would run around the Nürburgring
and who knows, maybe soon we'll find out
But until then, I'll leave you with this from Emre Levent
the mastermind behind ES Motor
Always something is cooking, always
Always cooking, that's it
Never forget that, never
