Shelton Altmaier Rollercoaster Cobolli vs Buse Darderi Features Hamburg 2026 Day 3 Highlights

Oh, that's interesting. Cuffoli, double faulting again. Oh, yes. What a hit. That's really nicely done. It's going to be a lovely feeling for him, Candy, isn't it? Knowing that he lost first-round qualies at Roland-Garros last year. Well, it's a little sloppy. Oh, what a first set for him. The qualifier from Peru. Oh, what an exciting rally. Yeah, that really got the crowd going. They loved that. Waiting for the moment when he was going to go for that. Well played. What a finish. The win of his life. Great work by the whole team. But especially the 22-year-old, Ignacio Buse. On the rise. And the defending champion is knocked out in the first round. Straight sets as well. And there's the early break for the second seed. It's an extraordinary point. What a second serve that is. Skids off the service line. And overall, that's an impressive set of tennis from Shelton. Oh, that's a scintillating pass. On the slide, on the stretch. Oh, it's brilliant. What a game from Ben Shelton. Gets the break back. And Altmaier is still alive. Oh, he's stolen the point. We go the distance. Oh, it's wondrous from Altmaier. Was just a little careful on the overhead. What a win. It didn't look likely. Ben Shelton served for the match. But couldn't get it done. Oh, beautiful drop shot. There's a good energy about him today. Extraordinary depth for Emojie Aliassine. What a fine game he's played. Oh, that's too wild. Needed to control that much better. Oh, that's beautifully done. Well, that's one area where you cannot criticise him. The drop shot today has been absolutely superb from Kotzebue. The number one seed is underway here in Hamburg with a straight sets victory. A lot to admire about Felix Ejialiassine's game today. It's an early break for Humbert. Just played the bigger points better. Humbert, in particular, on serve. Oh, yes. Packs a punch to Zenger. Especially when he's got time on the ball. He's missed it. And it's Zenger. Well. Oh, well, I was just about to say that's a super way to start. But Humbert here, there, everywhere in that point. And there it is. It's a rare deciding set tie-break win. Fugo Humbert. A match that he had to guts out. Really good effort from Justin Engel.
