We're doing a snowboard budget challenge.
I got 250 bucks for my board.
I have $1,000.
I got $5,000.
You guys ready?
I do!
All right, we're in Shields.
Probably just for me and Jeremiah.
Drew, you can't get distracted while you're filming.
Oh, Drew!
Snowboard, not Pokemon.
These are like half my budget.
I can't waste on goggles.
Oh, my gosh!
Oh, I'm so sorry.
This might not seem like a little bit of money,
but with snowboarding, this is brutal.
Like, I'm more worried about getting gears
I'm gonna stay warm with.
The Smitty's?
Oh, my boy.
Don't mind if I do.
The Smitty, Ruben, Yeagerman, Jensen's.
Also, guys, you may have seen it a couple times before,
but this is Jeremiah.
My good friend and one of our editors.
Cut that.
One of our editors.
And we're bringing him along because he actually,
he claims that he rips.
I love ripping, yo.
He's got big bars, so no excuse.
Exactly, y'all.
Bro.
What we got?
I'm stoked.
It's hard to be happy while sad.
That's why you don't stick up on me.
Yo, I'm stoked for this, man.
First time, $5,000.
Is this your first budget challenge?
It's my first budget challenge, yeah.
Big baller, first time.
Let's go, dawg.
You guys are gonna see me just like
freaking doing flips off the pipe.
What?
Stop the count.
We're doing green, blue, black, and freestyle.
We're hitting every aspect of the park.
This is only my second time snowboarding ever.
And what happened the first time you snowboarded?
I fractured my tailbone.
It was in Albuquerque.
It was icy.
We'll look out for you.
We'll look out for you on the slope.
This kid's board is more than my budget.
How am I gonna find something I can ride and get gear?
You're gonna have to get something used, for sure.
Well, yeah, but even then.
Aw, man.
This'll be brutal.
All right, you're gonna have to tell me what I need
because I don't know anything about snowboarding.
Yo!
Let's go!
How was it?
Yeah.
That's good.
I was so anxious to have to try and say one word.
Who's this guy?
Who is that?
You should get this 149 because it's the perfect size for me
and maybe I can ride it after we're done.
Well, what's the perfect size for me?
Uh, you need like a 158, probably.
Yeah, something a little bit older.
Especially because, so,
Shields, surprisingly, has a board for 150,
but it's a little kid's board.
So it's really small.
It'd be really hard to maneuver on this thing.
My weight would be too much for it.
But even the cheapest board here,
that's not even my size.
I still lose over half my budget.
And then I can't get gloves
because gloves are, that's stupid.
Gloves, goggles, helmet, jacket,
pants, boots.
Boots are gonna be expensive.
Bindings.
Oh my god.
Snowboards aren't that expensive.
What?
Dog, I'm torn right now between this
Flying V Burton snowboard
and then this Jones.
You know, when you're a big baller,
sometimes you just,
too many options, you know?
Wait.
How are you, Drew?
I wish I could get a board from you.
Made me so excited.
Alright, it's between these two boards.
This is how I'm gonna decide.
Okay.
Oh, there we go.
It's fate.
I was originally stoked on $1,000,
but after kind of looking at the prices on everything,
$1,000 is honestly not gonna go that far
once I have the board, bindings, and boots.
I also gotta find enough stuff to keep warm on the mountain.
I'm feeling really bad for Caleb,
but I think I might-
Talk to Jeremiah.
I think I might have an offer for Caleb.
Jeremiah.
Come here.
You scoot away for a sec.
Why?
Go, go.
Bye.
Oh, what's up?
I don't know if you remember the scooter video.
Well, you do because you edited it.
True.
I could only afford to buy my scooter.
So Caleb bought me an outfit that was somewhat embarrassing.
As a combined effort between us,
we could tell Caleb he can spend his whole budget on his board and setup
if we can pick out his outfit.
I think that's fair.
I think that's good.
Yeah.
Alright, Caleb, get back over here.
Lab?
He's probably crying somewhere.
Dad?
We have a proposal.
Yeah.
It's time for my revenge.
For what?
The scooter video.
What did I do in the scooter video?
You know what you did.
Oh, this is not gonna be good at all.
You don't have much money,
so you can spend $250 on your board, bindings, boots,
but we're gonna buy your outfit.
You know, I don't have a choice, man.
This is gonna be brutal.
I gotta stay warm.
Yeah, that's the main goal.
As long as all of us are warm,
having a good time,
it doesn't matter what our boards are.
We'll be in the mountain with the boys.
And just enough steeze that you won't be too embarrassed.
Apparently, they have like a new type of binding.
It's a step-on.
You don't think there's a regular binding?
It's draft.
So obviously, your no feet are coming out of that.
Right. This is what I'm used to,
but this is like brand new technology.
So I'm excited to try this out.
I'm gonna get this.
And it matches your board?
Oh, that's sick.
Let's go.
I wish I could drive that.
I found these $100 bindings.
My head is still so expensive,
but I guess that's the cheap price for these things.
Snowboarding is not cheap.
Piece of plastic with some straps on it.
Yeah, imagine having 250 bucks.
I hope so.
I guess yellow is the theme for me.
These yellow Oakleys are too steezy.
Wait, these are removable lenses?
Yeah.
Oh my god.
Hear the anon?
If it's dark out, you can keep the clear ones on.
Dude, there's too many options, dog.
Caleb is so excited.
Everyone else.
I love snowboarding.
Yeah.
I love your excitement.
And I'm stoked for you guys.
I'm so sad.
Dude, that hurt, bro.
I'm so sad.
One of the guys says 250 bucks to get boarding gear.
What do you think?
Oh, Facebook Marketplace.
We got magnetic lenses to pop on and off.
And then you got a magnetic face mask as well.
So that just kind of pops right up.
Yes and yes.
Oh, man.
I feel the gnar already, dude.
Wait, is it like a button you push?
Oh, there it is.
Oh my gosh.
This is so cool.
All the steez just disappeared.
Yeah, my money's running out quick.
I was at Gung Ho when I first got here.
A $550 board might be a bit much for my budget.
Because it's only my second time going,
I want to make sure I'm setting myself up for success.
So I don't want to get a cheaper board that might not
be the right size or length for me.
I can't even get goggles.
You should be grateful.
You can't get goggles?
I can't.
I can't afford them.
What are you going to wear?
Well, maybe it could be part of his outfit that we get for him.
Ooh, that's a good one, dude.
Good idea.
25 bucks for some goggles.
Sorry, guys.
I'm not.
This is not my sport.
I thought you were going to say something.
You want me to introduce your shop?
Yeah, this is your shop.
This is basically like Goodwill for ski gear.
So Drew says.
All right.
Thanks, Drew.
We're trusting Drew.
Go.
But this is way too small.
It's only 150.
It's a 140, though.
You can actually get something.
This is for a kid.
I know.
For a kid.
What kids are bigger than you?
I meant smaller.
What kids are?
Sorry.
I just found a board that's 120.
Bindings included.
147.
It's a little bit short.
I think I can make it work.
As long as these bindings fit.
I think I'll be set.
I might have enough to still buy some gear.
So I might not need your deal.
No, you need it.
Oh, I need boots still.
Oh, you need boots still.
Oh, these are still 60 bucks.
Burton boots normally.
These are obviously older.
But new ones usually cost like $200.
So 60 bucks.
That's 120.
That's actually at 180.
I still have 70 bucks to spend.
And since the guys told me they'd hook me up with a fit.
That means I could get like some little accessories.
Maybe some hand warmers.
Maybe find a bag.
We might be chilling.
I'm feeling better than I was an hour ago.
That's for sure.
All right.
It's not too bad.
Dude, is that even waterproof?
Yeah.
Yeah, it'd be great.
It's like down, isn't it?
Oh, dominant like a clown.
It's massive.
Nobody would think you're a clown, dog.
Look at that.
Yellow, red, orange, blue.
Yeah, try it on.
Like the rainbow.
Try it on.
All I'm missing is green.
Try it on.
The bindings are green.
Dude, are you serious?
Representing Skittles.
This is like a double X to Skittles worldwide, dog.
You guys are such jerks.
You don't have to worry.
You could at least give me something goofy in my size.
Hey, at least you're warm, though, bro.
That thing's cold.
Dude, I'm going to beat it.
That's kind of steezy.
Take that look.
Yo, look at that, dude.
That's kind of perfect.
And then perfect color combination.
Yeah, exactly.
The heck are these?
They're going to think you might be so silly looking,
but you're actually amazing.
And then they're going to see me eat it on that tiny little board.
Why do you actually pull off this jacket?
That's so annoying.
After the boys hooked me up with that insanely crazy fit,
I need to get a bag because I got to get Fiat some snacks.
Fill that up.
Not getting that one, Drew.
I got to have enough money for snacks.
I have $70 to spend.
Ideally, if I could get one for like $30 or $40, obviously.
$30?
Nice Sinat Geo.
Put those on my back.
Nice and insulated.
Perfect.
$30 left.
That's going to be straight for snacks.
The most important meal of the day.
You're going to be hungry when you're on top of the mountain.
I didn't even think about that.
If you were to go try and buy that from Marmot right now,
it would cost you like $750 plus tax.
Really?
Right?
Holy crap.
That'll take you to Antarctica.
If we get 100,000 likes, we'll go to Antarctica.
All right, it's tomorrow and we're at the mountains.
Time to get all our stuff on and show you guys what we got.
Are you nervous to go to the black diamond?
I'm nervous to go to the green.
Oh, you spat in my eye.
I'm feeling very confident about my gear, dawg.
What about you?
I'm not feeling good.
Sheesh.
I'm ready to see him rip.
Let's go, dawg.
I'm going to topple over my big Antarctica jacket.
Okay, it's really cold, actually.
Let's gear up.
All right, I am the low-buy budget.
I had $250 and thanks to these guys,
I look like the Michelin man fell onto a rainbow.
But are you warm?
I am very warm, I will admit.
They did come in clutch with that aspect,
but every single person on the mountain is going to make fun of me.
I found this board for $100 at M.E.R.
and the bindings fit.
The only thing I'm worried about is that the edges are rusty,
which is why it was so cheap.
And the edges are also worn out,
so they're not going to catch the snow very hard.
So when I try to carve, I could slip out.
He did a lot.
So look forward to that.
We all got helmets because safety is a priority on this channel.
No one snowboards without a helmet.
That was not part of the budget
because you should never snowboard without a helmet.
Oh, yeah.
This is my $30 backpack that has $30 worth of snacks in it.
And that's like the thing I'm stoked about the most.
I get to eat while I'm up there.
And that's my fit.
I'm nervous.
What do you got, Quaz?
I'm middle baller.
I had $1,000.
Got these goggles from Shields.
These were only $40, so not luxurious,
but they look all right.
This was a pretty expensive purchase.
I maybe should have saved some money on my jacket,
but I got this 686 jacket,
which I did spend a lot of my budget on
because I knew I wanted to stay warm
and wear something that I like.
Also, these are some cheap pants.
These are actually K2 boots.
I spent most of my budget on the board itself
and the boots and this jacket.
For me, those were the most important things.
As a beginner, I asked the guy at Shields
which board I should get,
and he said I should get a flat one.
So I'm trusting him.
I'm not going to listen to Caleb and Jeremiah.
They led me astray.
The board I was going to get,
he said, is for intermediate to advanced riders.
Because you really are.
You're already intermediate.
He doesn't trust himself.
This guy shreds and he doesn't even know confidence.
Guys, this is my second time snowboarding.
Yeah, but the first time you ever snowboarded,
he was already carving the mountain.
But I wasn't ripping.
I was just riding down.
No, you were doing way better than beginner.
Carving is what ripping is?
Ride the barrel and get pitted.
Trust me, when we get up there,
you're going to see how stupid I look.
I went all Burden too.
I don't know enough about snowboarding.
I just know Burden.
I think they're cool.
How did you feel about $1,000 as your budget?
I'd say $1,000 is a good budget to get into the game,
which sounds crazy because that's so much money.
But it's no Jeremiah though.
Oh, yeah.
Tell us about you.
All right, y'all.
This is good old $5,000,
aka more than enough.
We got this Burden snowboard,
which is sick.
It was a $600, apparently.
But look at the rock on this thing.
It's so bendy.
You're going to be able to shred everything.
Absolutely.
The other feature I'm really stoked on is the step-on bindings.
So these boots, I just...
Sounds so nice.
And these are like twice the amount of the normal bindings.
Oh, yeah, absolutely.
Definitely a little bit pricier,
but I'm excited to see what happens.
So we got these helmets,
but I got some like headphones.
Most important thing to me,
listening to music while shredding.
So I'm excited to get these on,
just be on the mountain with the boys.
Fit-wise, I kind of look like a Power Ranger.
I got the Burton, little like upper half.
Other than that, I got like a Nike cover-up.
The Anon glasses.
These things are crazy because they're interchangeable.
So I'm going to switch them up,
probably like midway through the day.
I got this too, the little hydration station.
I got snacks.
I got gloves.
Yeah, $5,000 is definitely more than enough for snowboarding.
Oh, these are the step-on Burtons.
So you have to get those to go with the bindings.
Yeah, you do need to get these to go on the bindings
and they have the BOA straps too.
I feel good, guys.
I feel ready to roll.
Imagine having $5,000 to spend.
On a level of one to ten, how nervous are you?
I'm like a eight, nine out of ten.
I have insane diarrhea
because I'm at level nine and a half.
Unlimited diarrhea.
Because I have snowboard before,
but this board is terrifying.
My fit is terrifying.
I look like a goober.
You're going to like roll and collect snow
and be a little snowball.
Well, let's find out.
Yeah, let's find out.
Let's head to the mountain.
The boys are getting on these sweet little gondolas
that take us up to the mountain
and then we can get on the chair lifts,
which is actually the part I'm most nervous for
because I'm going to look like a goober.
I guess that's nothing new.
What's Caleb muttering about?
What?
Why are you recording us having a conversation?
We're vlogging.
Remember when we were filming a video?
See, here's what I was telling Jeremiah.
I wear my helmet.
I have a helmet and I only wear it
when I try things out of my comfort zone.
And today, I'm definitely trying things
out of my comfort zone.
Me too.
The green hill.
Oh my gosh.
I am going to board inside the rail
whether it kills me or not.
I might give that a try, but...
I believe you.
I've seen Caleb send some stuff
he was not ready to send.
And guess what I did?
Broke your ankle.
Well, I landed it.
Dislocated it.
I'm so stoked.
I'm going to throw up.
See, I love mountain time.
One of those spots, going backwards gives you grease.
Yeah, I get carsick like no other.
You want to switch?
Guys, we stopped at a gas station on the way here
and I can never go back there after what I did today.
I was supposed to go too
and I said I couldn't after his epidemic.
I just got the pre-slope nerves.
I almost died.
Yeah, you guys have a good day.
Well, we're about to shred this mountain.
No matter how much we have, we're going to rip.
Getting on the lift was a success.
No hiccups.
Yeah, I was very impressed by Isaac's mount,
but here's the hardest part.
The D-mount.
We're on the green slope right now
and Isaac's already scared he can't go down the green.
Dude, you already mastered the lift, dog.
You already got through it.
That's the hardest part.
He ate it.
I'm so scared.
That sucks.
I don't know if I can get up.
I can't get up.
Yes, you can.
All right.
We're doing it.
There you go.
No, no, I can't.
If I fall down, dude, I'm stuck.
Yeah, keep it going.
Whoa.
Okay, I guess I'm going to send it.
All right, time to do some ripping.
There goes Jair.
This has been so long.
The board's not as bad as I thought.
It's not, dog.
I was getting nervous.
Let's go, bro.
Dude, I'm excited to try out the blue in the blue.
Oh, yeah, bro.
I'm here with you, Isaac.
Guys, look at the bunch of lakes for Isaac.
Give him the strength to get down the hill.
Oh, we got to see where our boy's at.
I thought it was my fault.
Nah, I lost control.
That's on me.
Nice, nice.
Oh, there you go.
Hey, you got it.
Stay left, stay left.
Go this way.
Stay left.
Yeah, baby.
Bro, he's so far, dude.
He's lying, dude.
He's lying.
Oh, there he goes.
Here he comes.
He can make it.
Look at that, man.
Who's man?
Oh, dude, he's got red.
Yo!
There's our jump for later, Isaac.
No way.
Yes.
Dude, I'm about to pop a wheelie.
Oh, man.
Last time I did this, I was in way better shape.
That, like, kills me.
I mean, as far as the board goes, it feels good, I guess.
Oh, I'm not going to lie.
This board is really hard to carve on
because the edges are not great at all.
And it's really small.
I was expecting it to even be worse than what it is.
So I definitely recommend going this route.
I never knew you could get a setup this cheap
that still functions.
I'm feeling good.
We won't know for sure until we try the blue
and try to hit a little bit of freestyle
because that'll be the true test.
I've overcome the initial fear,
so I think I can get down the mountain.
Let's take it to the max.
You're going to full send it?
Oh, yeah.
I'm going to send it to Lev right here.
All right.
Oh, yeah, baby.
Oh, it feels so good.
Yeah.
Yo, Der.
Oh, he's in the shadows.
How's our boy?
Whoa, whoa.
I distracted you.
Y'all didn't see that.
Cut that.
Yeah, where's our boy at?
He's up there.
Spirits are high.
He's getting a little bit of snow in his gloves,
but he's feeling good.
Oh, gosh.
Sorry, Mellon.
Dude, how do you feel about your board so far?
So far, I love it.
I need to adjust a little bit
because this is the first super bendy board,
but once I get those adjustments in,
this is going to be a sweet ride.
Isaac, I'm right here with you.
That was amazing.
Oh, no, I think Drew just went down.
Where's Drew at?
Oh, Drew fell?
Oh, crap.
Drew's never skied before,
but it's the only way he felt comfortable
holding the camera and going down at the same time.
So definitely give a shout out to Drew
because he is grinding for us to make this video happen.
Isaac is literally crushing it.
That's what I'm saying, dude.
Yo, you're killing it, dawg.
Isaac!
Leave a like for Drew, yo.
Send him some love.
All right, let's get it, Jer.
Yes, sir.
All right, it's time to activate the goggles too, bro.
I've just been playing games out here.
All right, stop practicing on.
It's probably easier when you're moving.
Dude, you're literally killing it, dawg.
Sorry, editors, I don't know how much this you'll be able to use.
That was crazy, dawg.
I will say the first day of snowboarding is the worst,
but if you just grind through day one, you'll love it.
All right.
We'll do a little test, get some carves,
see how low we could go.
Awesome.
We got a friendly right here.
Hi, Drew!
There's Jer.
You guys come flying by?
Yeah, he's just chilling.
We're in the slow zone, bro.
We're in the green.
We can't go fast.
I can't go fast anyway.
The one thing is I've mastered getting up, at least.
It only took you half a run.
Well, I don't know about mastered, but.
The toes is the key.
Yeah, I think if I had low baller, like if I kill this board,
I don't think I'd be able to get down at all.
I would attest to that.
This thing is hard, but we're still making it work.
Let me out.
Okay, all of our budgets were successful with the green,
even the low baller budget, but next we have blue,
then we're going to hit a black slope,
and then we're going to try them out on the freestyle park,
which I am especially scared of.
Lock in, bro.
Find the oneness with the board today.
You're up here right now.
Yeah.
We need you down here, dawg.
I like it.
I like that.
We just had lunch.
It was incredible.
It is definitely a bit sunny out now.
I just got to use one of my perks being the big baller.
That is swappable lenses.
Let's try these bad boys on.
Yeah, baby.
As of now, in my personal opinion, the budget is overrated,
but there's still a lot of testing to do and I might get
hurt really bad.
So it's still early to say that.
As far as the boards go,
I feel like mine and Jeremiah's boards are feeling similar.
Aside from the technology with the strap, for sure.
Yeah, so every time Isaac gets on his board,
I have to strap him in for him.
I can't reach my bindings.
But if he had step-ons, he would get a snowboard no problem.
Look how high up we are.
Are you scared of heights, Isaac?
Heights is not one of my fears.
I have lots, but that's not one of them.
What if I pushed you off?
Well, yeah, I'm afraid to die.
That's a different fear though.
To quickly test the speed of the step-on bindings versus
some traditional bindings,
we're going to do a quick time trial and see who can do it
faster. I think the answer is pretty clear,
but we're going to see how close it can be.
You better be on your A-game, Caleb.
I'm going to be. We'll see.
All right, counting down.
Ready? 3, 2, 1, go.
Jeremiah did his in 10.50 seconds.
And Caleb's still on his first binding.
Shut up!
Nostalgic.
This is how the OG rippers did it.
Step-on sounds so nice, man.
Oh, I did it!
That was 49 seconds.
Holy crap.
I mean, that's pretty good.
You did that in under a minute.
All right, help me get into mine.
Oh, crap.
Goodbye, Caleb.
I'm going now.
No, stop me.
Help me.
I should probably sit down, huh?
Sit down.
Oh, I'm going.
Goodbye.
You look like you're ruining this.
Oh, yeah, by the way.
Oh, yeah.
Because in all Blinded Challenges,
if we have fits that allow us for stuff underneath,
merch is allowed.
Guys, this merch is freaking sick.
It matches your goggles.
Yeah.
I actually like my fit without the jacket in this one.
Well, yeah.
Just go to jstewshop.com.
You can look like this.
Help me, daddy.
Get him strapped up.
How do you think he'll do in the blue?
I think I'm going to do even worse than I did on the green.
Thanks, man.
I got you, buddy.
You're going to do better on that blue right now.
Did God send you?
I can't talk about that.
Keep that positive attitude, baby.
You've got it.
I appreciate it.
Let's do it.
Time for my Michael Jackson move.
He's up.
Dang it.
Isaac already fell.
Isaac, remember what I said earlier.
Not up here.
In the heart.
I'm feeling in the heart for Jeremiah.
One with the board, dog.
Isaac's really getting there.
He's feeling that love in the board.
That's the thing about snowboarding.
Don't overthink it.
Don't get so technical.
Just have fun.
Do what you can.
Isaac just destroyed the learning area.
It's not like I'm in a movie.
Oh, you jerk.
He just skidded me.
Yeah, I threw.
Yeah.
I'm going to go speed, dog.
Dude, you were going pretty fast, though.
That was your best run of the day.
Dude, he was hauling.
Oh, man.
I saw like a gallon of snow up my breeches.
That was good.
That felt good.
Jeremiah, how are you feeling?
Bro, this thing goes fast, dog.
Yeah?
I could get some speed.
Always wear a helmet, because no matter how good you are,
everybody can have a slip and a spill.
And one knock to the cranium could be the end.
So wear a helmet.
The freestyle is actually on this run.
So we're going to hit the freestyle first.
And then after that, the black diamond.
Isaac's going to love that.
The black diamond.
Boom, boom.
All right, let's get to the freestyle part.
I'm about to hit a board slide.
This is my ultimate goal.
I've never done it on a snowboard,
but I can do it on a skateboard.
So I think I can do it.
You know what I did?
Taylor, tree run.
Ooh.
OK.
He's got to try and haul it.
Oh.
Isaac thinks he stinks, but he can low-key get after it.
Yeah, he did.
Love doing like a little 360 on a snowboard,
a little butter axe.
Never mind.
I'm going to try to just get as much speed as I can.
I did almost crash a while back there,
but obviously the goal is not to crash.
Big wadwumbo.
Ah, sorry.
I got to go.
Trying to find.
Oh, dude.
Isaac Quazzo, everybody.
Just let this roll in case something happens.
Dude, every time.
Oh, that's icy.
Just a little bit of ice.
Little bit of ice.
Yes, sir.
Oh, that feels good.
Oh, god.
That was crazy.
Isaac and I literally just glimpsed.
I've never been more scared in my life.
That was actually wild.
We're at the freestyle park now.
And they have some pretty chill stuff here.
So we're trying to hit the box.
You going to hit a rail?
I don't know.
I think he is.
What?
I think you will.
That looks scary.
All right.
Who's first?
You are.
OK.
Yes!
That's crazy.
Why did I do it?
Why did I say that?
Caleb's next.
That's sick.
Yeah, this is pretty sick.
Keep in mind, me and Caleb do skate a lot.
So I don't know if this would be a real expectation
to try on your first day.
But it's not as easy.
It's not as scary as you think.
Basically, it's riding along a flat surface.
All right, Jeremiah.
Is he going to try it?
He does rip, dude.
It's true.
The legends are true.
Jeez, that feels good, yo.
I have noticed something.
And this is a small discrepancy from cheap to expensive
is my goggles suck.
Like, I tried to get cheap goggles.
I didn't think they were important.
They're $40.
And they're fogged the entire time.
How are yours?
No fog problems whatsoever.
Yeah, these ones kind of suck, actually.
You're all spotty.
That's how you look going down the mountain.
That was so sick.
That was awesome.
Get that man out of the contract, dog.
That was so sick.
I gotta try it.
He was going so fast, too.
Really, second try board slide ever.
I got it.
All thanks to skateboarding.
I'm telling you.
That was actually easier than skateboarding.
And I did it on a $200 or $100 board.
All right, so we actually all three made it on the blue.
But to be fair, these are the worst conditions
I've ever been in in Brecker Ridge.
It's icy.
I'm on a $200 board.
These guys have no excuse.
But, no, I'm just kidding.
But I will say that when me and Jared crashed,
we were both kind of looking back at Isaac.
He was hanging back a little bit.
So he distracted us.
I'm going to use that as my excuse.
We're just checking on our boy.
That's right.
We're checking on our boy.
I want to make sure my boy was good.
I actually just crashed.
But I just want to use Isaac as a reason.
All right, absolutely.
I remember being in front most of the time.
But did you guys see that board slide?
Second try ever?
That was the most beautiful thing I've seen, bro.
It was easy, too.
Like, it wasn't even a beginner-looking board slide.
I don't know.
It's a blur.
It's literally a blur.
Isaac's trying to break a snowboard.
I'm not going fast enough.
Oh!
I will say, I've never actually done a board slide.
So it's hard for me to tell about the freestyle.
But this thing is heavy.
It does not flex.
It is really hard for me to go in that box.
I will say, this thing is not good at turning.
Like, every time I tried to turn, it felt like I was slipping.
And that's kind of what led to my crash.
It wasn't because I was a bad snowboarder.
Yeah, right.
Yeah, for me, the board is super light.
So it's super mobile.
Just able to get on that box right off.
Taking turns, like left and right, easy.
Maybe a little too much.
A little too much, but I love it.
It felt pretty good.
It didn't feel scary, either.
I was expecting it to be really scary.
This is almost less scary than, like, flying down the mountain, to be honest.
You think freestyle is more chill?
Oh, yeah.
It's a hot take.
But I skate, so I'm used to doing that.
That's true.
Going fast down a mountain, like, I don't bomb hills on a skateboard.
Unfortunately, because of the conditions, the black diamond slopes are closed.
So we actually aren't able to test those.
Phew!
Don't worry.
We're going to do another snowboard video if you guys like this one.
But make sure we all get to go down the black.
Especially Isaac.
And Caleb is going to hit that rail.
If we get 30,000 likes, I'll hit that rail.
I'll go after it.
30,000, right there.
That one's, like, five times taller, five times longer, five times faster and scarier.
Oh, my knees!
I think I broke my patella, to be honest.
I definitely need more speed.
I'll try and hit the rail next time, if you guys like.
I just have a hard time controlling the board still.
So rolling up, I'm not able to get a good grip.
But this is something for me to come back and try and get next time.
I'm going to go ice my knee.
Looks like you already are.
Did I hit my knee?
It feels like I hit my knee on the rail.
Rewind it.
Oh, my knees!
Ouch!
I really did hit my knee!
Okay, guys.
