Tetyana Bilenko vs Hina Hayata | WT - QF | #ITTFWorlds2026

You can see the contrasting styles of Hayata. As we see the first flash of back, shouts of encouragement to her teammate. Switch between the black and red sides. Hayata just teeing off. There's a lovely shot in here from Teti Belenko where she... And right on cue, the attacking shots come up. Set up by a ball that flicked the net. Hayata did so well to get this one back in the table. Over Belenko. And again, the forehand proves decisive. Hina Hayata winning the opener in fairly comfortable fashion. And that was a good mix-up by Belenko. And those are the slightly... Belenko found the wide forehand again. Won't come in and necessarily attack it. Just wonderful attacking table tennis from Hayata right now. The drop short. And it caught the edge. She found that wide forehand again from Belenko. Spin into the wide forehand of Hayata here. Oh, it's a wonderful rally. Hayata just staying on the attack, staying close to the table. Belenko doing what she can to counter-attack. That one away. And it's a wonderful forehand to seal the deal. Team Japan just one game away from the semifinals. It's got to go wide again, either side. And that was good again from Belenko. They give you a chance to get the ball back into open space. Flipped the edge, yeah. That was staggering. Big smile on the face of Hina Hayata. Team Japan on the bench. Happy to sit on defense. Don't really worry about the serve too much. There we go, the first attacking one. Oh, it's a brilliant rally. Hayata takes it in the end. But Belenko landed damage of her own. It was a couple of counter-attacks here. Just like that. Hayata seals the deal for Team Japan here. With so much control. So much attack and intent. So much of that wonderful spinny ability. And knowing when to step forward.
