Meanwhile, the pressure is beginning to tell on Pip Archer. Following her secret decision to order a private BRCA gene kit, Ruth notices that she looks exhausted and appears to be "spiralling". As they debate the merits of the NHS versus private testing, Pip remains tight-lipped about the kit she has already purchased, insisting she needs to make the right decision for herself.
