Police seek suspect in daytime assault caught on video

Police are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect accused of groping a woman in broad daylight in the city's Kensington neighborhood.

The incident, under investigation by the Philadelphia Police Department's Special Victims Unit, was captured on home surveillance video. Footage shows a man following an unsuspecting woman, approaching her, grabbing her and then walking away.

Jamie LaPierre-Valentine, whose camera recorded the video, said the woman came to her home immediately afterward.
