This week on 22News InFocus with Patrick Berry

22 News in Focus continues to air on our 22 News Plus app. Host Patrick Barry joins us live in studio now. Patrick, what can we expect from you this week? Not only on the Plus app, but coming up this Sunday, we're featuring two of my shows. I sat down with a climatologist from the University of Massachusetts up in Amherst. We talked about the difference between climate and weather, and our 22 Storm Team does that all the time. But also one of the things that we talked about and got into was the wide changes in our weather over the last few years. You never saw tornadoes years ago. You see them more frequently now. So we talked a little bit more about that. I got a chance to sit down and introduce myself and learn more about Holyoke Community College from their newest president, Dr. George Timmons. Great gentleman. We talked about the importance of community college education and how the students from HCC are learning the important skills to meet the needs of our employers right up and down the Pioneer Valley. An article came out not too long ago about a possible link between Alzheimer's and our exposure to vitamin D. So one of our local doctors got in the studio with me and we discussed. Am I getting enough vitamin D? Am I not getting enough vitamin D? What's the balance there? Additionally, an actress and comedian, Allison Larkin, she's got a one-person show. It's called Grief, a Comedy. It is a sad story, but she puts it in a good light. It's a fascinating performance and a great conversation with Allison and then also our library. When was the last time you were at a library? Actually, not too long ago. Very good. Well, it's funny because our libraries are becoming more and more important and a lot of people don't recognize that. So two members of the library community joined me to talk about the importance of our local library. So that and so much more that you can see on the 22 News Plus app. If you haven't downloaded it yet, now go to your Apple TV, your Fire TV, or your Roku device and look for 22 News Plus. Download the app. You can see all my shows, all your shows off the desk. There are five other locally produced shows that you can you can watch. And then also don't forget to tune in this coming Sunday at 12 noon to see me right here on 22 News. Awesome. Thank you, Patrick.
