What I Found at the End of This New Mexico Trail

This Recon America episode takes me to southwest New Mexico for two days of exploring on and off the trail. The first day runs the Saddle Rock Canyon and T-Bar T trails deep in the Gila National Forest, with old mineshafts, ranch land, and high country that climbs to over six thousand feet. The second day is spent walking the historic streets of Silver City, the country that produced Billy the Kid, survived a flood that erased its Main Street, and kept reinventing itself when most of its mining town neighbors went quiet. There's more history out here than people give it credit for.
