A man who bought a £3 wisteria plant says it has finally bloomed after 51 years.

Tom Daly, 81, planted the wisteria in 1975 and even took it with him when he moved house, hoping each year it would finally flower.

After decades of waiting, the plant burst into bloom in 2026, leaving Tom joking it could belong in the Guinness World Records.
