NJ officer involved in crash while chasing suspects in Philadelphia

Surveillance video shows a police pursuit ending in a crash along Torresdale Avenue in the Holmesburg section of Philadelphia.

According to sources, the chase began in Trenton after a Trenton police officer assigned to a New Jersey State Police task force initiated a traffic stop.

The stop was reportedly connected to a weapons investigation. The dark-colored vehicle that had been pulled over fled the scene, crossed state lines, and traveled south on Interstate 95 before exiting onto Torresdale Avenue.
