Resurrection Life through the Earnest of the Holy Spirit 2 Corinthians 5:5. In part two of our study of the earnest of the Holy Spirit and resurrection, we focus more on the role of the Spirit. The O.T. Prophets, i.e. Joel, Micah, Ezekiel all spoke of the Spirit's work in accomplishing the resurrection and events of the last days.

Futurist views are challenged through the work of the earnest of the Spirit. Resurrection and bodily change is a miracle. In all the epistles where the two are mentioned it is the Spirit who effects the change.
