Good afternoon friends. So today I want to give you a review on this particular rose called
State of Grace and I want to record this from afar so that you can see its growing habit and
how its color blends in with the rest of my garden. This is my backyard. You can see a whole
bunch of chair cushions in the greenhouse. I had to bring them in there because it was raining this
morning. So back to State of Grace and this is State of Grace right here and I will slowly
post reviews of other roses for you. I figure if I do it individually it's better than
a whole bunch of them at once because it'll be too long for you. Okay let me come closer.
So State of Grace is a fragrant grandiflora and its growing habit is
it's pretty compact and it can reach from three to five feet tall. In my zone 9b right here it's
it can be on a taller side. I think it was at five feet tall and then I had to trim it down
early in the season and now it grew back up again. This rose was introduced in 2018
and it has a ruffled multi-color bloom.
Let me come closer. Hope I won't fall off this retaining wall. Okay all right I just got up the
retaining wall. Okay so it has bronzy pink to apricot color. So it starts out like this
like a bronzy orangey color and then I think that's the earlier stage
and and then this is like a little bit open stage.
And this is more open and then it comes to this stage and it has the golden center which is very
pretty and then eventually it fades out to this color. So it's pretty unique rose with multi-color
blooms. This is its third year in my garden and so far it's good. No disease at all. Very low
maintenance. I'm in zone 90 and this rose is recommended for zone 5 to 10. And if you deadhead
it often it can bloom throughout the season. And it's recommended to be planted in full sun area
and this side of the yard is in full sun at least six hours or more. And it's ideal for containers
garden beds and it's great as cut flowers because it's pretty upright and it stands up very long
It's a pretty rose right?
So I hope this is enough information for you. Thank you for watching. Bye
