J.D. Vance's son stole the show as the vice president went to cast his vote in the Ohio
primaries.
Vance returned to his home state to fill out his ballot.
He was joined by his young son, Vivek, who also participated in a special kid version
of the election.
The vice president walked alongside his middle child with his ballot in hand.
He jokingly said, I have to hide it from the reporters.
I don't want them to know who I voted for.
While Vance was busy entering his ballot into the machine, Vivek was seen carrying a stuffed
animal.
The young boy placed a piece of paper on the table and carefully looked at a sticker given
to him by an election worker.
For the outing, Vivek was dressed in a beige hooded sweatshirt from H&M that featured a
unique black splatter paint design.
His outfit also included a pair of golden brown corduroy trousers from J.Crew, which
added a warm touch to the look.
To complete the ensemble, he wore patterned sneakers from Native Robbie that were both
practical and stylish for a day out with his father.
After casting his vote, Vance grabbed his son's ballot and announced to the room, he
voted for the Easter Bunny over the Tooth Fairy.
The vice president added that Vivek's vote was a risky choice because the boy currently
has a loose tooth.
Vivek will soon become a big brother for the second time.
The vice president and his wife, Usha, are preparing to welcome their fourth child together.
The Vances are expecting another boy in late July.
This will make Usha the first second lady in modern US history to give birth while serving
at the White House.
In recent weeks, Usha has made several public appearances with her baby bump on full display.
Vice President Vance and the second lady attended the welcome ceremony to honor the visit of
King Charles III and Queen Camilla to the United States.
For this occasion, Usha wore a sky-blue Shoshanna Pendleton A-line midi dress.
Usha Vance also attended the White House State Dinner in honor of the British Royals, wearing
a design by Oscar de la Renta.
The second lady chose a custom double-face wool gown in noir.
The dress featured elegant crystal floral appliques and was paired with a matching bias
cut shawl.
On April 23, Usha attended the 113th First Lady Luncheon, arriving in a black floral
dress.
At the event, she was gifted a baby blanket by Leah Dunn.
Leah is the president of the Congressional Club and the wife of Florida Republican Representative
Neil Dunn.
