this turned out to be the most magical week in california ever

This is my absolute dream hotel like oh my god it is so perfect oh my god wow amazing thank you so much cheers as we just checked in first off they had our room ready three hours early i don't even know if these lights are gonna do anything this is the most beautiful hotel i've ever been to like inside i'll take you guys through that a little more in depth later it's just stunning i knew i was gonna love this place but like oh my god first off the design's insane i love the tassels at the bottom everything about this room is just so perfect oh my god and then over here how amazing it's just the cutest room ever and they greeted us with champagne we're gonna go to mission ranch soon too so we're gonna like just refresh really quickly the christmas section oh we have to get an ornament again we can't wait i know that we would never know it's from carmel but i know that's why we can't do i know charlie knew i'd come in here for these but now i'm like wait maybe i do need them i really just don't have any room in my suitcase we have four suitcases because of the shoot so like i don't even know where i put but oh wow cute i got really cute ones in savannah if you guys are new here i what i oh wait well charlie's mom has like 100 of these but um if you're new here i collect ornaments always this i'm in love with like how cool is that wait what did you just say so look how good this looks together i literally couldn't agree more like they're so cute i love that thank you so much these are cute too i love everything in here like it's perfect even me yeah you too i know i think we should get them because apparently oh why how do we miss that it's 40 off let's get this one and that one too well these are aren't they a little different like yeah so i thought you'd like beautiful perfect hotel i've ever been to like it feels here okay like this i don't mean to send any sort of a knock but like carmel is so whimsical and perfect and beautiful but it's very cottagey and in a way it almost feels like like okay like a nice version of disney obviously disney's great but you know what i mean like i don't know if anyone's gonna understand what i'm saying and that probably is just disrespectful and that's not really what i mean but it's just it should be a compliment i can't describe it it feels like you're in a world that is not real it's crazy so anyway this week we were in california for work i have a friend of mine shoot tomorrow and the next day for a new collection that is launching very soon actually anyway we're doing that and then we're going to la from here on tuesday today's sunday to i'm recording some hawkeyes episodes charlie still hasn't met dom we like have just had the craziest schedules the past year so we're gonna go to la it's like mainly because i need to record but also because charlie needs to meet dom and then we're gonna meet other friends and it'll be so fun charlie just like hasn't even been to he's in southern california he hasn't like been to like la with like my life there so since we started dating anyway we are gonna go to mission ranch very soon i'm so excited it's like so stunning you go put your name in and then you sit with a view of sheep like this place is not real it is so beautiful this hotel has a delivery yes charlie from five to seven totally doesn't all the time when i'm like filming he hates me and it like he doesn't pay me you know what i mean he knocks me well i'm not making this any better he hits my arm with whatever i'm holding and it's either a drink or my camera at all times and it drives me insane yeah the best day ever this weekend is amazing yesterday i can't even get into yesterday it's a perfect saturday and i woke up and now we're in carmel today and it's just so fabulous and so perfect we're at mission ranch i got a sauvignon blanc you got the holy water which is a margarita famously i just like margaritas outside of texas this is an amazing thank you so much think about me like i love potato skins and crab cake this is amazing seriously best day ever the they're hiding again but it's beautiful good morning everyone we are in carmel for a big friend of mine shoot i'm very excited about it it is the shoot that we have like definitely put the most time energy money into um and we're here and it's all outdoor and it's going to be raining the whole time and two of the samples we changed something really like literally just the color on a sample and it was supposed to arrive like a week and it hasn't i think i already talked about this so it's actually arriving to my house in dallas like within an hour which is a big mess and supposed to be overnighted here but at this point i'm like it might not even be worth it because it is going to be pouring we're gonna go shoot from like 9 to 12 today and it's supposed to start raining at 12 and so the rest of the time that we are in carmel it's just raining which obviously sucks because this is a like outdoor place but whatever we're gonna make do we thought about doing like a fun rain shoot too but i just don't know if that's gonna end up working out or not maybe it'll stop raining tomorrow or something who knows um but anyway i'm getting ready right now it's seven it's so nice being on west coast time because it's so easy to wake up i also got submarine yesterday i somehow i packed everything that i've ever possibly even touched in my house because we just have we need it for like the photo shoot and i somehow forgot my toiletries bag so i didn't have my sunscreen yesterday and we walked around for hours and my forehead i do have a big forehead is burnt so it's a little painful putting on my makeup this morning i will be honest anyway we're actually gonna go um to the breakfast here at the hotel i posted about this hotel last night and everyone's like oh my god you're gonna dive to the breakfast i don't really know what that means like i'm pretty sure it's just like hotel breakfast so we will we will see it's definitely feeling a little burn and fiery i will say wow wow wow wow the good thing is i've been using this as like makeup prep because it's really good for that and i've really been liking it um so i do have a moisturizer here which is like really all i need if i don't have a moisturizer i will like lose it cannot survive without one of those but anyway we're going to tailor the taylor earth like farm stand like taylor like the salad the bag salad you guys see anyway the farm stand is like so cute so that's where we're shooting you guys you can guess what the collection is below um and it launches at the end of may which i'm so excited for it's very bad this is where we are shooting so i guess you guys you know cats out of the bag it is in fact but oh my god it looks unreal like all the flowers carmel truly is a dream it actually feels exactly god forbid i say this for the 15th time like you're in a nancy byers movie but it is like beautiful this is insane good morning y'all it is now tuesday morning just got off some meetings this morning we are leaving for the airport in a couple hours carmel has been amazing i've really been vlogging on my phone non-stop because we were at our shoot yesterday which was like literally the most incredible day ever and then we just had a pr call and a production call for our next like six drops and we are going to leave very soon i think we're going to sit and just relax for a second and then head out and then we're off to la i'm recording this week and then charlie's meeting some friends which will be fun and that's that i'm actually kind of getting hungry the breakfast of this hotel has been amazing they don't have ac i realized that too late um but the breakfast here it's like literally the cutest place ever and the breakfast here is amazing so still highly recommend just like keep in mind there is no ac but it's also kind of like standard for california so anyway oh also we forgot to drink this i got this for a shoot yesterday it was actually a good one so anyway we're off guys there is a cookie service at this hotel i would give you cookies between and like you would have thought that charlie was like like it was like jesus himself was like being reincarnated with this cookie service and it's just been this ongoing joke all weekend of like charlie and cookie service because this whole day revolves around the cookie service he just went into the lobby to check out and was just like and again thank you so much for the cookie service like it's really so sweet like this cookie service you would have thought was like he won the lottery every single night it really truly we all need to have a level of can't describe it this is everything that we're mailing i got some great stuff in carmel vlog haul next week when i come back and it's arrived those pumpkins are everything all right now we are off to la it's very gloomy here also this this um i almost said hotel this airport is amazing they had a restaurant like up there so nice we just got to the hotel literally seven minutes ago and they've already done a little change and we're in this new top that i got it's completely backless and my jay cruise sweater that i got as a replacement for the one that i left in savannah last weekend and we are off to john and benny's immediately because i'm basic and he wanted italian food and i was like okay we need to go to like my college table is it the best food in the world like no but it's amazing and great to me you know and i feel like it has definitely seen its heyday in la whenever i'm coming i'm like trying to like grab onto something that just like isn't really a thing anymore but it was a thing to me trying to leave so we're off charlie loves it here because there's colors here he goes it looks good i know charlie's very creative you guys didn't know look at his creation there charlie in la it kind of feels crazy that you're here i know i keep saying that and it's oh my god it sounds like you've never traveled or left anywhere charlie has been to 1 billion more places than i have been and tell you something that you're gonna hit in la i don't know what to do oh my god stop he's been to like he's traveled everywhere in the world he just hasn't been to la but he's been like around here and honestly it's kind of shocking he hasn't been to la because he literally lived in california at one point but anyway um i'm taking the cha-cha matcha which is so up your alley you have no idea looks amazing i know this these are the same cups they use at the ranger's city for my margaritas this is new i'm liking them keeps your ice cold charlie just tried my nitro latte not nitro latte matcha from cha-cha matcha which by the way i don't know it just means it's smoother i think but sorry it's so loud here they're always doing landscaping and i have to film this but anyway this machine the nitro machine is like always broken like the mcdonald's ice cream shop but charlie just tried it and he said that it tastes like a my little pony like when luke said that about lorelei's coffee and gilmore girls speaking of i was just on gilmore to say go listen to the podcast anyway it's the best matcha ever charlie's working in the other room which just means he's on like a hundred billion phone calls anyway i'm getting ready we're back from matcha i'm waiting for my girls to set in i actually have a meeting in 18 minutes so let's get our makeup done i'm watching morgan stewart's latest podcast if you guys watch rich kids listen i'm like famously not a reality show girl like at all like i i don't watch anything no i look at the kardashians like i like a family one that's centered around people versus like i don't know i guess that doesn't make sense because like bravo guys seriously where is my stuff it's right here um i like the kardashians and i loved rich kids of beverly hills i just randomly watched that i never even like i don't think i watched it when it was on e because i streamed it whenever i was living in california because one of my roommates was watching it and i just loved that show and that is what started my love for morgan stewart which really i don't think about it would have been around the time it was streaming i guess i think it was streaming when we watched it like 2017 20 i think 2017 is when i watched it anyway so i've been a morgan stewart girl since then like i love that woman she's like a dream dream podcast guy she's so funny and i need to have her oh i need to have her on the show but she just started her own podcast comes out on wednesdays and i'm loving it and today she has roxy on which is like her ex best friend and they had a massive fight on the show i like barely even remember it i actually should go back and re-watch rich kids uh and i'm loving that so it's just been like such a great thing to my wednesday mornings like whenever i'm at home and needle pointing at 6 a.m and my little needle pointing hook i'm watching morgan stewart's podcast on my ipod which is amazing so anyway this morning i have a meeting with one of our production teams for a ton of products that we're either developing sampling setting into production all of the things um we've started we're using one team like a ton we use a billion different teams depending on what the product is on the friend of mine side but this team is my favorite and we are using them for a lot of stuff just because they're the best to work with so we have a direct call with them normally i have calls with like the head of our production and then i'm on all like the email chains and the communication and but we have someone who like basically connects us with those people and knows where to get what developed and all that stuff so anyway and then today i'm recording a swap with jc and chelsea what we said which is so nice because they're just two really really good friends and i love them and i love recording with them because it's just like catching up with friends which is so fun when i'm in la it's really hard to see everyone um i used to live here from 2015 to 2020 and a lot of my friends live here my best friend dom lives here there's just a lot of people obviously keaton lives here tk like there's just a lot of people i want to see plus like just other people that i would love to see as well that i never get to but everyone one is so busy and two normally my schedule when i'm in la i'm in studio the whole time this time i'm here and we're only in studio total for like 11 hours i think which is really low for like my normal studio days so i'm also trying to like make sure charlie meets people he still hasn't met dom which is insane i know i said that already i mean they facetimed like a ton and like like they talk so it doesn't feel that way at all but anyway we're gonna do that um we're gonna go on a double date with keaton and brandon he's actually already met them like very briefly and then what else are we doing um one of my really good friends from my old like church thing here that i like still keep up with that i'm super i still keep up with so many people there actually but i'm really close to her and we're gonna go to the ivy tomorrow and then she wants to start needlepointing and i want to go to this new needlepoint shop in la so i'm hoping that she's gonna want to go there tomorrow i actually have a day off so it's gonna be just like meeting a bunch of people which will be really really good so anyway i'm gonna get back to watching morgan stewart's podcast and i have a meeting in 10 minutes and i've got to finish my makeup so we'll chat soon okay two minutes into my meeting and after i take my hair in my rollers it looks crazy so i do have to brush it which sucks because it doesn't like fully stay i use a lot of color our products so definitely like those if i don't have those it's not staying um i need to go put clothes on i obviously don't have a lip on but i do like how i've been doing my makeup like i feel like it looks so much better than it used to and even in the photo shoot the other day i did it this way and i was looking at the photos and i'm like so much better because of the skin prep and i stopped having balms underneath my skincare but like seriously i'm not kidding where is that guys in beauty thank you makeup by kellyanne because this stuff is amazing obsessed hi guys i'm good how are you i like that ring i'm so pretty thanks thank you um i'm going to the studio later today so i just got ready we're at great white now i took my meeting and now we're here it is ready cheers it's the cutest restaurant ever and we're staying like right around the corner it's perfect this looks incredible my lip is a little too dark but i'm heading off to the studio now i'm not wearing the outfit i wanted to wear because i need to wear this sweater for a newly deal that i quite literally live in it's not that i don't want to wear it it's that i wear it every single day so i'm getting a little self-conscious about it but anyway they've asked me to remind you to point for some social jc and chelsea are picking me up as we speak and i'm off hello you guys look amazing the lighting is just perfect i just got back from the studio we recorded a swap and then i did some social content for dear media and now it is i think it's almost 6 p.m and i just changed we are gonna go meet up with dogs so i'm wearing one of my favorite dresses from reformation this coat i just got from revolve my favorite flats and just my normal favorite jewelry my lip gloss like i keep putting this on it's just a little too dark so gotta figure that out i'm gonna grab a spritz and then we're going to a very early dinner i actually have today or tomorrow off i need to get some work done in the morning but mainly it's just gonna be hello meeting friends tomorrow so anyway we're about to go dog's picking us up and honestly i'm hungry so this is perfect this smells amazing good morning look who we're with hi guys i got a new wallet we're switching things over today is my day off i treated myself i've needed a new wallet for the past like probably two years my i love a card case i don't like anything too bulky but um this card case i've had for so long and i just like have not cleaned it so now it's gotten a little stretched out and like my id and stuff have fallen and i saw this at the store recently and it's my favorite color and it matches my yellow bag so well as you'll see in a second um we're actually running out the door right now look how cute um amazing and i'll have it forever here's i mean they're not like matching yellows but i don't care like i just love this color and i figured it was time anyway we are actually out to go catch up with a friend we're going to the ivy i'm having the most basic 2018 la week that you could possibly have we are about to go walk down robertson and you know what maybe i'll get another coffee uh um blue bottle i was up like all night last night i'm so tired we got to see tk this morning and i was like i'm so sorry i like do not like i'm not well like i don't know well i do i'm just tired i don't feel great whatever so anyway we're gonna go meet up with an old friend of mine that you guys don't know and then i'm gonna stop at a lns after but i'm changing over my wallets i've had this miu miu card case for so long it's great but this is this is my next and look at how cute and perfect it looks sorry about the glare here's what i'm wearing ralph lauren a goldie shorts these are the best denim shorts i just got them flats my normal jewelry and then my sunglasses oh god sorry guys are flonser i love them actually ready sunglasses and they're like the best not my hair looks crazy they're like the best sunglasses ever okay guys so it is now friday i have barely filmed anything on my actual vlog camera i've been filming everything on my phone this week which i feel like actually outside of obviously the audio is not as good has made this vlog so much better because i always have the hardest time vlogging here i actually didn't vlog at all when we were at dom but we were hanging out with dom now that i'm thinking about it i completely blanked on that and i saw some friends yesterday and i'm about to go to the studio i'm recording with tay walkner i'm going on the squeeze the lighting in here is weird and then she's coming on my show and then from there we are heading straight to the airport and we're going back to dallas i need to morning and i still want to like wrap our gifts and stuff we're gonna land at midnight i'm like i'm just tired like last night i just i just need to be home like that's what i need at this point in time so we moved our flights up we're leaving right from the studio and then i'll be home tonight we'll be sleeping in our own bed it'll be so nice um so anyways we are off to the studio now i'm excited um just recorded two swaps this week when i used to come to la guys to like batch record i would do like 12 episodes in a week which is insane i also for the podcast i really want to do um like i like how with other shows only reason i don't do this is like resources honestly but with other shows i love when they do like a sit down intro like i love like on therapists when he like has his friends on intros and stuff or just like period people have like a sit down intro to sit down outro like i love on armchair how they do like the fact check and stuff and i really want to do more of that with the show where we're recording like in dallas where it's a little bit more timely it's really expensive when i record in dallas like i have to do it all in one day because it is like the most cost effective way but i am thinking like maybe i just do like intros like once or twice a month and we have like something else i don't know something that feels a little more personal because i don't want it to be a show where like you only chime in based on the guests that are coming like i want it to be something that you listen to every single week regardless and like the common denominator is like still there you know what i mean i feel like sometimes just like a little bit too like guest heavy but then i don't want to be too solo heavy because then it's boring you know what i mean anyway i'm waiting for my makeup to go down a little it's always a little crazy at first but it goes down and i need to go and leave we stayed at the kimpton by the way great hotel like really convenient great location we walked to so many different things west hollywood if you guys are like looking for a good la hotel rec this is a good one obviously you can only like walk to like west hollywood like la is like the most walkable city like from neighborhood neighbor just because it's so big but if you're trying to walk in west hollywood green or great
