Confused Worlds of Futurism Part 6 A Name Cursed A Name Chosen

Confused Worlds of Futurism Part 6 is about a name cursed, i.e. the ancient nation of Israel for disobeying the Law of Moses per the prophecy of Isaiah 65 and Deuteronomy 28.

It also is about the name chosen for the new Israel, the people who were yet to be created after old Israel was destroyed in the siege of Jerusalem of 70 AD. The new name is the new creation, the new Jerusalem and holy city which came down out of heaven, Rev. 21:2 It is Israel transformed from the natural to the spiritual, created Jesus in Christ.

Israel's prophecy of complete destruction for the unbelieving nation who rejected the Messiah is outlined in Deut. 28 (and Lev. 26) with the curses found in Torah. The writings are clear that there would be no redemption from this destruction to "utterly destroy" them, to "remove them from the land" and "until Israel was destroyed"

The siege of Jerusalem prophesied by Christ in Matthew 24, Mark 13, Lk 24 and the Book of Revelation makes clear that the nation would never be established again in that form.

As Isaiah 65:17 forward outlined, a new nation, a people who were yet to be created in Israel's last days would come into being and receive the blessings which Israel, the nation sought.
