FILMING AFRICAN PENGUINS IN CAPE TOWN
In this video, I head to the Cape coast to film African penguins in their natural habitat, observing their behaviour and working to capture their world as authentically as possible through wildlife filmmaking. Cape Town offers an extraordinary contrast between urban life and rich coastal biodiversity, making it one of the most fascinating places to film wildlife.
This trip also marks a deeply personal moment in my life, as I share a new chapter while continuing my work in the field. Balancing wildlife filmmaking with personal milestones has shaped how I approach storytelling, and this experience in Cape Town reflects that journey.
During my time there, I also had the opportunity to film the incredible work of SANCCOB, a charity dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and conservation of seabirds, including African penguins. Seeing their work firsthand added a layer of understanding to the challenges these birds face and the efforts being made to protect them.
