First Ride on a KTM 300 XC WTF

We're out on the coast today. We've got two new toys. First off 2019 KTM 300 XE and also the anti-gravity A1 360 drone. It's actually the world's first 360 drone in collaboration with or co-designed by Insta360. So yeah big thanks to Insta360 for sending that across. Now we're going to test it out. We're testing the, I've got the goggles off today, I'm going to test the active track. This is literally the first time I'm testing it. The active track that is. I've flown it once before. It's pretty, pretty cool eh? But yeah very hard to get used to. All right we're going to take two. I think it lost me when I went closer to the bush. This is the newest bike I've had. Not bad. So let's get into some raw riding. This is my 2019 KTM 300 XE. The last of the carbureted cross-country bikes made by KTM. The power is super smooth and the torque is honestly unreal. This is my first ride on the KTM out on the farm and we've had about 100 miles over the last couple of days. So the track is actually pretty slippery even though it looks pretty dry on camera. The tires are also pretty warm so I'll be swapping them out with a fresh set of Bridgestone soon. I've added Renthal 821 bars in the stock bar bend with Renthal grips and I'm running the yellow power valve spring. It's pretty mellow but the bike feels really smooth. Perfect for these kind of riding conditions. I've been talking about getting a KTM 250 or 300 XE for about two years now so it's definitely well overdue. Hope you enjoy the riding. I might need to gear it down actually. F**k I don't know about this hard enduro s**t. We've just had 100 miles though so the ground is soft. Still like pivot turns ******* suck. That f**k gets off.
