Cinderella 1950

Released in 1950, Cinderella is Walt Disney’s 12th animated feature film and is often credited with saving the studio from financial ruin after World War II. It remains the definitive "Disney Princess" movie and a cornerstone of the studio's legacy.
Based on the version by Charles Perrault, the film follows a kind-hearted girl mistreated by her wicked stepmother and stepsisters. With the help of her animal friends—most notably the mice Jaq and Gus—and her Fairy Godmother, she overcomes her circumstances to find her "happily ever after."
