Intro to 1 Corinthians 15 Hymenaeus and Philetus No 9

In this video we address another objection to the fulfillment of resurrection in the first century. It is the alleged contradiction charged by futurists who cite the doctrine of Hymenaeus and Philetus.

The problem is a failure to read the text in the light of its historical and contextual background and the other assumptions surrounding it.

In the next view videos we demonstrate that the objection has no doctrinal validity because of the failure to observe the above. But, it's a great educational exercise to consider it.
