A Baby Girl! Emma Stone Welcomes First Child with Husband Dave McCary

Emma Stone is a new mom. People confirms that the 32-year-old Oscar winner has welcomed a baby girl with her husband Dave McCary, who is a segment director on Saturday Night Live. The couple met when Stone hosted SNL in 2016, and a source confirmed to People in September of 2020 that they tied the knot earlier that year. Back in November of 2018, Stone opened up to Elle about how her desire to get married and have a family has evolved with age, saying that as a teenager she felt, quote, "'I'm never getting married. I'm never having kids.'" As she got older, she says that changed to, "'I really want to get married. I really want to have kids.'" Stone added, "'It's weird how much turning 30 crystallizes your life. Instead of just living the dreams that I had in my youth and getting to do the job that I love to do and making friends and going through all of that, it's like, now, what do I actively want as an adult?' And two years later, while speaking to Entertainment Tonight about her animated movie The Croods A New Age, Stone said, quote, "'I feel pretty good about starting my own pack.'"
