4 GEORGIA STATE TROOPERS SHOULD BE ARRESTED & IN PRISON for insurance fraud. #cops #government

3 Georgia State Patrol troopers and 1 sergeant were fired after an internal investigation found misconduct tied to personal injury claims filed following law enforcement pursuits.

The case was opened Jan. 30 and closed April 2 by the Georgia Department of Public Safety’s Office of Professional Standards. The complaint was classified as “conduct unbecoming.”

Investigators concluded that TFC2 Hunter Waters, TFC1 Tyler Byrd and TFC1 Isaiah Francois had sent multiple crash reports and claims through a single Vidalia attorney in an effort to seek compensation from drivers they had pursued on duty. Investigators identified multiple demand letters that sought $25,000.

Sgt. Joseph Curlee became aware in 2025 that troopers in his unit were filing personal injury claims against the insurers of drivers they had pursued on duty. Curlee also tried to seek his own insurance claim.

Sounds like insurance fraud to me!
