Did the Jews Unbelief Delay The Wedding of Matthew 22?

According to McPhalen, the Jews' rejection of the kingdom of God offered to them by John the Baptist, Christ and the apostles in the first century was rejected. Because ofe this rejection, Christ allegedly post poned his return. He attempted to prove this by citing the parable of the wedding feast in Matthew 22.

However, the wedding feast cannot be misconstrued as a delay of the parousia but is rather an emphatic teaching of its non-delay.
