Just like Niko, even when we are placed in special positions we may be unsure of what we need to do. Pastor Anastacia reminds us that God has a plan for every part of our lives. Ryan has an exciting update on nature time. This week's story is about Joseph's journey to becoming a leader in Egypt. It is found in Genesis 37, 39 and 41.

Welcome back to Graceville, where God's love is everywhere.
It's me, Pastor Anastasia, and I'm so super duper excited.
And you join me today as we learn more about our best friend, Jesus.
Today's special feature comes to us from right here in the United States,
where my friend Mireille has prepared a beautiful song just for us. Let's listen in.
Letting go of every single dream, I lay each morning down by your feet.
Every moment of my wandering never changes what you see.
I tried to win this war, I confess. My hands are weary, I need your rest.
Mighty warrior, king of the fight, no matter what I face, you're by my side.
When you don't move the mountains, I'm needing you to move.
When you don't part the waters, I wish I could walk through.
When you don't give the answers, as I cry out to you,
I will trust, I will trust, I will trust in you.
That was awesome!
Boys and girls, remember, if you want to share your gifts and talents for Jesus,
please ask your parents or guardians to inbox me, and I'd be happy to share it with our friends.
I was just on my way to Nature Time. I can't wait to find out what Ryan has for us today.
It's always such a treat. You never know who or what we'll be learning about. Let's go!
Hi boys and girls, and welcome again to Nature Time at Graceville. Today, we're going to be
doing a follow-up of the robins that built a nest on our porch. Let's tune in.
We thought you'd like to hear about what happened to their eggs.
Well, they hatched, and guess what? Fledglings are considered fully grown after only three weeks.
The father robins usually take care of the fledglings while the mothers get ready for
their next eggs. When they were born, they could not fly and had to depend on their parents to
feed them and clean up their potty messes. But every day, they got stronger and stronger.
One day, I checked the nest after I got home from school, and they were gone.
They no longer needed their nest and had learned to fly and find food for themselves.
Like fledglings, children grow up until they are able to take care of themselves.
Boys and girls, we do need to learn how to live on this earth, but most importantly,
we need to learn how to live in love like Jesus. 1 Peter chapter 2 verse 2 says,
as newborn babies want milk, you should want the pure and simple teachings.
By it, you can mature in your salvation. So let's feed on the Bible every day so we
can become a light in the world. Bye, boys and girls. Thanks for tuning in. See you next time.
Thanks, Ryan. That was some really good information. I just love all the cool things
we're learning. Now, it's about that time for us to check in on Nico. I heard he was a little bit
confused about something. I wonder what's going on. Let's find out. Hey, Pastor Nastasia,
I'm just feeling a bit confused. How come? It's just that after our talk,
I thought being cross-president would be easier. But some days, I don't even know why they voted
on me. Sometimes I just feel like I should quit. I hear you, Nico. But when God calls us to
leadership or to do something great for Him, it doesn't mean that the road will be easy.
The ups and downs we face does not change God's plan for us. Wait a minute. That reminds me of
our theme for this week, which simply says, God has a plan for your life. Let me hear my little
friend Ezra say it. God has a plan for your life. And our memory verse is found in Jeremiah 29 verse
11. And it simply says, for I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans to prosper you
and not to harm you. Let me hear my little friend Noel say it. For I know the plans I have for you,
says the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Jeremiah 29 11. Great job, everyone.
Wait, so you're saying that God is still calling me to lead my class, even though a lot of my
programs failed? Exactly. Failure and challenges are not a reason to quit or a sign that God is
not with us. They are opportunities to grow, learn, and develop our faith in God. That's why
today's story is about a young man who believed God's plan, even though his call to lead Egypt
was filled with setbacks. Can you guess what today's story is about? A leader in Egypt, setbacks.
Oh, I got it. It's Joseph. That's right, Ethan. Today's story is about Joseph.
Even though Joseph was his father's favorite son, life was not always easy. From a very young age,
God revealed his plan to make Joseph a great leader through two dreams. He shared his dreams
with his family. His brothers became really angry. Not only did Joseph have a special colorful coat,
but now he would be their leader? Never. So they devised an evil scheme to get rid of him forever.
They threw him into a pit and sold him into slavery. Thankfully, God was with him,
and he ended up in the house of a powerful Egyptian man named Potiphar. Unfortunately,
Potiphar's wife told a lie that landed Joseph in prison. Despite his bad experiences, God's plan
did not change. God fulfilled his promise by rescuing Joseph from the prison and moving him
into the palace. Joseph became one of the greatest leaders in Egypt. Whoa! It's amazing
how Joseph can still believe in God's plan after being thrown in a prison cell and into a pit.
It sure is, Nico. No matter the mistakes or difficulties we face, remember God has a plan
for your life.
