A taste of the drone show over Douglas Bay celebrating the Year of the Manx Language in March 2026.

An estimated crowd of 20,000 people attended the event along Douglas Promenade, enjoying a show of Manx words and imagery in the sky accompanied by a spoken audio and lively Manx music.

The Douglas Drone Show was organised in partnership between Culture Vannin and Douglas City Council, as a celebration of Manx Gaelic for Blein ny Gaelgey - Year of the Manx Language 2026 and coincided with Douglas ‘City Day’.
