Learn more about sand - how it's made and how it helps the environment with Ryan at Nature Time. And of course, you get to hang out with our friends from Brazil, Canada and Maryland.
This week's video is based on the story of Nebuchadnezzar's dream in Daniel 2.

Hi boys and girls and welcome back to Graceville where God's love is everywhere. It's me
Pastor Anastasia and I'm so super duper excited that you've joined me today as we learn more
about our best friend Jesus. Today's special feature comes to us from right here in the United
States where my friend Phoenix has prepared a beautiful song just for us. Let's listen in.
Amazing! Boys and girls remember if you want to share your gifts and talents for Jesus
please ask your parents or guardians to inbox me and I'd be happy to share it with our friends.
Yippee! I am so excited for nature time. It's one of my most favorite places at Graceville
and here to teach us more about God's creation is our friend Ryan from Canada and I think he
has such a special treat for us today. Let's join in. Hello everyone and welcome again to nature
at Graceville. Today we're going to be talking about sand. Let's tune in. The different colors
of beach sand depend on the minerals that are found in them. For example, tropical beaches
look white because of the skeletons of marine life like corals. Other beaches are mostly made
up of silica, a mineral found in the earth's crust. The beaches with black sand are formed
from red and black volcanic lava rocks. This hard grain is very useful. For example, it's important
for building houses, volleyball courts, and even glass. It is also very important for the
environment because it protects our coasts. Companies are now making artificial sand by
crushing rocks or stones instead of taking large amounts away from beaches. Many animals do not
make their homes in sand because it can be washed or blown away and expose them to bad weather and
This Bible verse is found in Matthew 7 26. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does
not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. Boys and girls, we can
play in the sand, but when it comes to serious things, we need to follow Jesus. Bye boys and
girls. Thanks for tuning in. See you next time. And we're back and just in time for us to check
in on Melissa. I wonder what's going on with her today. Let's find out. Hey Pastor Anastasia,
I can't believe summer is almost over. I know, right? You must be super excited to get back to
Yes, and no. I miss my friends, but I heard that fifth grade is really hard. What if I can't keep
up? I understand. But instead of stressing, how about you put your trust in God to help you?
After all, we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength. He is the source of all
wisdom and understanding. Wait a minute. That reminds me of our theme for this week, which
simply says God gives us wisdom. Let me hear my friend Laice in Brazil say it. God gives us
wisdom. And our memory verse is found in James 1 verse 5. And it simply says, if anyone lacks
wisdom, let him ask of God who gives generously to all. Let me hear my little friend say it.
If any of you lacks in wisdom, let him ask of God who gives to all liberally and without reproach,
and it will be given to him. James 1 5. Great job, everyone.
Wait, so God wants to help me do well in school? Really?
Most definitely. God doesn't want us to fail. And the good news is that there's nothing too
hard for God. That's why today's story is about a group of men that God helped to pass
the hardest test that Nebuchadnezzar ever gave to his wise men. Can you guess who today's story
is about? Hardest test, that's right. King Nebuchadnezzar. It's Daniel and his friends.
That's right, Ava and Christian. Today's story is about Daniel and his friends.
King Nebuchadnezzar ruled one of the most powerful kingdoms on earth, Babylon. His life
seemed perfect until one night he had a terrible dream filled with worry and fear over the dreams,
meaning he called for his wise men. Surely they could explain everything to him. But there was
one problem. Nebuchadnezzar could not remember what he dreamt. The wise men trembled with fear
as the king angrily decreed that they would be put to death if they could not recall the dream
and its interpretation. When Daniel and his friends got the news, they turned to God
immediately in prayer. Thankfully, our wise God came through for them by revealing the dream
and its meaning. They were saved just in time. Hallelujah! Wowzers! If God could reveal to Daniel
and his friends the king's dream and its meaning, there's definitely no math problem too hard to
solve. Exactly! Remember, you'll be A-OK trusting in God's wisdom. He never lets us down.
