Hi boys and girls and welcome back to Graceville where God's love is everywhere. It's me
Pastor Anastasia and I'm so super duper excited that you join me today as we learn more about our
best friend Jesus. Today's special feature comes to us from right here in the United States where
my friend Olivia has prepared a beautiful song to remind us that God loves you. Let's listen in.
Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so. Little ones to Him belong.
They are weak but He is strong. Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me.
Yes, Jesus loves me, for the Bible tells me so.
Thanks Olivia that was amazing. Boys and girls remember if you want to share your gifts or
talents for Jesus please ask your parents or guardians to inbox me and I'd be happy to share
with our friends. It's nature time again. It's nature time again and I'm so excited because today
our friend Ryan is teaming up with Jashwant in India. I can't wait to find out what we're going
to be learning about. I hear it's the most beautiful bird in the world. Well to find out
more you'll just have to come along with me. Hello boys and girls and welcome again to nature
time at Graceville. Today our friend Jashwant is going to be talking to us about peacocks.
Let's tune in. And today I'm going to talk about peacock, the national bird of India.
Peacock is one of the most beautiful birds on the earth, mostly found in Asian countries.
These are famous for their beauty worldwide. It is metallic green in color. It has long blue
green, brown and gold colored antlers which is a treat to the eyes. The blue
crest on its head enhance its beauty. Fellow peacocks, peahens and other birds are safe.
For this they shuttle to alert everyone around about the danger at hand. On usual day peacocks
voice can be heard during the morning and the evening hours. When the weather is pleasant
their voice can be heard. The sight of a peacock dancing is simply mesmerizing.
According to Genesis chapter 1 verse 21 and 22 it says, So God created great sea creatures
and every living thing that moves with which the waters abounded according to their kind
and every winged bird according to its kind and God saw that it was good. Thank you Jashwant
and I agree because everything that God's ever created was beautifully and wonderfully made.
Bye boys and girls. Thanks for tuning in. See you next time.
And we're back. Just in time to check in on Melissa. I wonder how her week went.
Well, let's find out. Come along with me. Hey Pastor Anastasia. Guess what? I've made a
new friend this week. He's kind of different. What do you mean by different? He lost one of
his legs in a car accident. So now he wears a prosthetic. I'm so glad that I got to know him
instead of just making fun of him like some of my classmates do. He's actually pretty cool.
I'm so proud of you Melissa. God wants us to be kind and compassionate to everyone
even if they're different. That's another way to share God's love. Wait a minute.
That reminds me of our theme for this week which simply says treat everyone kindly.
Let me hear my friend Bianca say it. Treat everyone kindly. And our memory verse is found
in Ephesians 4 32 and it simply says be kind and compassionate to everyone. Let me hear my friends
Melanie and Amy say it. Be kind and compassionate to one another. Ephesians 4 verse 32.
Great job everyone. I don't understand why people are so mean to each other
just because we don't look all the same. Me either. We should always be kind to everyone.
After all we're all precious in God's sight. That's why today's story is about a young man
King David was extra kind to him even though he was left lame after a terrible accident.
Can you guess what today's story is about? A lame man who David treated kindly. Wait I know.
It's Mephibosheth. That's right Taraj. Today's story is about Mephibosheth.
Mephibosheth was the son of David's best friend Jonathan. When word spread that his father and
grandfather King Saul died in battle his nurse picked him up and ran as quickly as possible to
safety. She was in such a hurry that she accidentally dropped him and he became crippled.
Years later David learned that his friend Jonathan still had a son alive.
Moved with compassion David showed kindness to Mephibosheth and gave him many gifts. David did
not allow the fact that he was different to stop him from showing God's love.
Wowzers! That's a perfect example of how we should treat everyone kindly.
I agree. No matter how different we may be we're all God's children worthy of his love and care.
