1000 Years Reign of the Saints

1000 Years Reign of the Saints Rev. 20:4-6. In this lesson we study the millennial reign of those who were beheaded for the word of God and of those who lived. Using a process of elimination, we narrow the participants of this reign as Christ and the believers.

Revelation chapter 20 is much disputed among theologians and exegetes today. Many are confused over it. Our aim is to break down the components of the text in a manner that can be easily understood and remembered. We give bible-based reasons why these verses apply to the pre-Parousia reign of Christ.

After an analysis of verse four, we delve into the rest of the dead and the meaning of "they lived not again." Comparisons and correlations are made with Philippians 3:20, 21, Eph. 2:20-22 and 1 Cor. 15:24-26.
