Thanks! That was so amazing! Boys and girls remember if you want to share your gifts or
talents for Jesus please ask your parents or guardians to inbox me and I'd be happy to share
it with our friends. You know that sound it's nature time and with our friend Ryan from Canada
you never know who or what we'll be learning about today so if you want to know you'll just have to
come along with me. Hello boys and girls and welcome again to nature time at Graceville.
Today we're going to be talking about armadillos. Let's tune in. Armadillos are mammals and there
are about 20 known species. For example we have the nine-banded armadillo, the dwarf armadillo,
the southern three-banded armadillo, and the smallest the pink fairy armadillo to name a few.
The southern three-banded armadillo is the only armadillo that can curl up into a ball but they
are not good diggers like all the others. Armadillos can carry leprosy so they wouldn't
make very good pets. They do not have big teeth so armadillos are unable to catch bigger prey.
They are omnivores so they can eat insects like scorpions and cockroaches and also seeds,
vegetables, eggs, mushrooms, and fruit. Armadillos can move across water in two ways. They can sink
and use their sharp claws to walk or they can fill their stomach and intestines with air and float.
Armadillos can hold their breath for six minutes or more. Armadillos can jump up to five feet in
the air when they are startled. This scares off their predators. They are the only mammals with
shells and this also protects them from predators. Armadillo means little armored one in Spanish.
We also have an armor from God. Ephesians 6 11 says,
wear the full armor of God. Wear God's armor to fight against the devil's evil tricks.
Bye boys and girls. Thanks for tuning in. See you next time.
And we're back! Just in time to check in on Melissa. I wonder how her week went. Let's go!
It's awful, Pastor Nastasia. Nothing's working. Wait, what's not working? It's Zuma, my dog.
He's really sick. We've tried everything but nothing works. Oh no! But, quick question,
have you tried Jesus? Jesus? He's not a veterinarian. Maybe not, but he is a healer.
There's no sickness he can't cure or problem he can't solve. Wait a minute, that reminds me of
our theme for this week which simply says, put your faith in God. Let me hear you say it.
Put your faith in God. And our memory verse is found in Mark 11 verse 24 and it simply says,
whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it. Let me hear my friend Hannah say it.
Whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you will receive it. Mark 11 verse 24. Great job everyone!
I know, but sometimes it's hard to have faith. If only God were standing right here,
just like you are, it would make it easier to believe. I understand, but right now Zuma needs
you to trust God's word and believe in his power to heal. That's exactly what the soldier in our
story did when his servant was sick. Can you guess who today's story is about? A soldier whose servant
was sick? Hmm, this may be a long short, but is it the Roman centurion? That's right my friend,
today's story is about the Roman centurion. A long time ago a Roman centurion lived in
Capernaum with 100 soldiers under his command. He was heartbroken to learn that one of his soldiers
was very sick. They tried everything, but nothing worked. After hearing of Jesus' miracles,
he believed in his power to heal, so he asked him for help. Now, being a Roman, he didn't feel worthy
for Jesus to visit his home, but that did not shake his faith. For him, he just knew that even
if Jesus didn't come to his house, once he spoke the word, his servant would be healed. Jesus marveled
at his great faith, and at that very moment he spoke to Jesus, his servant was healed. Wowzers,
now that Roman centurion's faith was so strong. Now that's the kind of faith I want. Me too. So let's
start with reading God's word and putting our faith in Him.
