The Great White Throne Part 1 Revelation 20:11-15
The Great White Throne Part 1 Revelation 20:11-15 prophesied in Daniel 7:9-12, is the defining moment of the judgment spoken of in the gospels and the epistles. The enemies of God flee before the face of Him who sat on the throne. Their judgment which for a long time had been in a deep slumber, had awaked. There was no longer any delay, Rev. 10:7. The seventh angel had sounded and now it was time for the mystery of God to be finished as was declared to the holy prophets.
This great time of reckoning saw a great cosmic shift in the covenant. The old heaven and earth fled from before the face of Him who sat on the throne, never to be remembered again. The barriers to life were also removed.
The timing of these events from Matthew 16:27, 28, 24:3-34, Lk. 21:20-22, 1 Peter 4:7, 17 , 2 Peter 3, etc, all have their roots in OT prophecy. The apostles spoke nothing that was not written in the law and the prophets. At the time of writing of Revelation all were about to be fulfilled.
