City of Everlasting Light Revelation 21:23-24

The City of Everlasting Light reflects the glory of God and the Lamb. It need no sun nor moon to shine in it. These are reflections back to Genesis 1:14, showing the purpose of the heavenly lights and their relationship to the feast days of Israel. They mark a terminal point in the Old Covenant cultus breaking way into the new light as enjoined upon believers.
