Revelation describes the eternal kingdom of light. There is no night, but one everlasting day. No sun or moon is needed because God and the Lamb are its Light.
John sees the prophecies of Isaiah, Daniel, Jeremiah, Zechariah and a host of others fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
The kingdom of God came in fullness after Ancient Israel's lease expired. The unbelieving nation was evicted. Luke foretold this destruction, Lk 21. Revelation portrays it in apocalyptic style.
