VANLIFE in CORSICANA, TX | Vanlife in a Travato GL

Published 29–May-19 Taking the backroads to Austin, Texas, I discovered a charming town of 23,000 residents named Corsicana. Corsicana was put on the map in 1894 when oil was discovered while a search was underway for water. Turned out is was Texas’ first commercially significant oil field. To me, this is the essence of Vanlife. Discovering quaint towns and learning history and culture of places that I would likely never visit through traditional travel means, that would be by airplane + hotels.
