Hi, I'm Jamie and this collection of beautiful motorcycles is Triumph's new Gold Line Special Edition Series.
These have all been developed in response to the incredible reception to last year's Street Twin Gold Line Limited Edition.
So, following on from lots of requests from riders and Triumph fans for more unique custom paint options,
Triumph decided to take eight of their most iconic modern classics and craft a beautiful design for each
that showcases the incredible skill of Triumph's hand gold lining experts.
Now, as you might imagine, pinstriping requires years of experience and an incredibly steady hand as there are no guides to follow.
Each tank design starts with a two-colour base scheme where the joining point between the two colours is flattened down.
The gold line is then carefully hand applied, often in one continuous stroke by the artist, using a very specialised soft-bristled sword liner brush.
The paints they use for the gold lining are specially formulated by mixing a powdered colour with a cellulose lacquer for exactly the right consistency,
as normal automotive paint would be too thin for brushwork.
Then, once the pinstripe is in place, it's sealed against the elements with a final clear coat of lacquer.
As you can see, every bike in this collection takes a latest generation Triumph model and adds its own exquisite gold line colour scheme,
perfectly illustrating the skill and attention to detail that Triumph is renowned for, making them even more exclusive.
Each design is only available for one year.
So, let's take a closer look.
Starting with the most famous classic of them all, the Bonneville T120.
Being the very latest specification T120, you have all of the Bonneville's torque-rich 1200cc twin performance, sophisticated chassis setup and signature style,
now with this wonderful competition green and silver ice colour scheme.
The classic green infill on the tank is edged with a hand-painted gold line and this subtle gold line logo,
while the side panels carry a striped graphic with the unique white and gold Bonneville T120 logo and hand-painted gold lining.
The mudguards are finished in silver ice and there's an accessory fit matching silver ice fly screen available too.
The same competition green scheme has been adopted by the T120's younger sibling, this, the T100.
Now, the T100 is a great entry point to the Bonneville range, with confidence-inspiring handling, a punchy 900cc twin engine and a high level of specification,
the latest in Bonneville's ABS and traction control and, of course, all of the Bonneville's signature style.
Next up, the T120 Black Gold Line Edition.
Again, you have all of the T120's responsive and thrilling high-torque 1200cc twin performance,
plus the Bonneville's easy handling, agile ride and a high specification of equipment throughout.
But as you can see, this beautiful edition has a darker edge,
with a sophisticated matte sapphire black paint scheme running across the tank, front and rear mudguards, headlamp bowl and side panel.
The tank infill is matte silver ice, hand-edged with gold line detailing, as is the side panel striped graphic,
which features a unique black and gold logo design.
The scheme perfectly complements the black engine, black exhaust system and the wealth of blacked-out details that give the T120 Black its mean and moody attitude.
Staying with the bike's full of attitude, you have this, the absolutely stunning Gold Line Edition bobber.
The theme is Carnival Red, which is carried across the fuel tank and mudguards.
There's a twin-stripe design on the tank with brushed foil knee pad graphics, all edged with hand-painted gold lines.
Plus, of course, you have the Gold Line's signature logo.
The side panels are finished in sapphire black with a new gold and silver bobber logo.
There's an accessory fit colour-matched short front mudguard available too.
It's the very latest specification bobber, so along with the custom-inspired good looks, you have an excellent level of standard equipment,
including twin Brembo front brakes, high-specification suspension, fat front wheel and, of course, the responsive, high-torque 1200cc twin engine.
Looking now at Triumph's world-renowned Scrambler line-up.
There is a Gold Line Edition of each, the Street Scrambler, Scrambler 1200 XC and Scrambler 1200 XE.
Let's start with the Street Scrambler.
The Street Scrambler is powered by the latest generation of Triumph's high-torque 900cc twin engine,
with a unique Scrambler tune and it's comfortable, fun and really intuitive to ride.
This special matte pacific blue gold line scheme really suits the bike's urban attitude and rugged style.
The rich blue of the Tank beautifully contrasts with the graphite stripe and accompanying hand-painted gold line.
The Triumph Tank logo echoes the same gold as does the hand-painted line circling the brushed foil knee pad graphics,
while the side panels and mudguards are finished in a premium matte black.
An accessory fit matching matte blue fly screen and high-level mudguard will further add to the authentic Scrambler style.
Moving on to the 1200 Gold Line Edition Scramblers.
The versatile XE with its plush suspension and unrivaled all-road, all-day performance and comfort.
Or the stunning XE, the world's only genuine dual-purpose modern classic adventurer,
with a category-dominating level of performance and specification.
Both models are powered by the latest generation high-torque 1200cc Bonneville twin engine
and both benefit from state-of-the-art rider-focused technology and an exceptional level of finish and detailing.
For one year only, this, the Gold Line Scrambler 1200 XE,
comes in this stylish combination of carnival red and storm grey,
with a hand-painted gold line running alongside an aluminium silver stripe.
Again, the brushed foil knee pad graphics are edged with a gold line
and you have the subtle signature gold line logo on the tank.
The side panel and headlamp bowl are both finished in jet black.
The scheme for the Scrambler 1200 XE is this striking Baja Orange,
with a pure white stripe and hand-painted gold line.
As with the XE model, the knee pad graphics are gold lined and the side panel and headlamp bowl are jet black.
Finally, completing the Gold Line range, you have the Bonneville Speedmaster, which I'll show you next.
Already a custom classic icon, the Special Edition adds another level of luster and sophistication.
You have this beautiful silver ice fuel tank with a sapphire black twin stripe design
and brushed foil knee pad graphics, all edged with hand-painted gold lining
and signed off with a discreet gold line logo.
The sapphire black is carried across the side panels, which carry a unique new gold and silver Speedmaster logo.
The headlamp bowl and mudguards are finished in sapphire black too,
with the option of a matching accessory fit short front mudguard.
As with the rest of the Gold Line models, this Speedmaster is their very latest specification
and delivers all of the comfortable, controlled and refined ride you would expect.
So, there you have it, the new Triumph Gold Line Special Editions.
A unique collection of truly exquisite high specification motorcycles that deliver signature Bonneville style,
thrilling performance and exceptional attention to detail.
And all available for one year only.
