As far as snacks go, we have...
I'm not that old yet, but I'm old enough to need a neck pillow.
Our singer Chris, he is addicted to these things.
There are worse things to get addicted to.
I'm so excited. Hello, Digital Tour Bus. Come inside.
Hello, everybody. My name is Pi. I play guitar in the band Lord Of The Lost.
We are currently on the Dark Winter Tour together with The Birthday Massacre
and Wednesday 13. We are promoting our album Opus Noire,
where our third volume, it's actually a three-piece album,
is coming out in April on the 10th, I think.
Probably. You can look it up.
And that's why we're here. And I'm going to show you the bus today.
And here we are. I mean, we're in the front. You know what's happening here.
There's the driver sitting. That's not our business.
We can't do that, I guess.
This can be our business.
This is the looking out onto the road, letting your thoughts wander.
That's that seat. But I'm going to show you the front lounge.
There is, however, one rule in the bus.
As you can see, my shoes are just like house shoes.
So you have to take your shoes off.
As you can see, it's very dirty because it's a horrible winter.
OK, so this here, what you see, we only have that since two days.
We've been on the road for, I think, a little over 10 days or so.
However, we had a different bus that broke down.
Most importantly, the heating broke down.
And with the degrees outside right now,
it's quite dangerous when you have your water and your bunks frozen
and you see your breath when you wake up and everything.
So we are very, very glad that we're on this bus now,
which actually has heating, which is warm, which is safe.
And it also comes with a bunch of TVs.
So we have this one and we have another one there.
So when you sit here, you can just do this and not do that.
And when you sit here, you don't have to do this.
You can do that, which is very luxurious.
We usually don't really watch TV, but the past two nights since we have it now,
we're so happy we watch the same thing over and over again
because we didn't know how to change it.
And it was a movie with Nicolas Cage and Jared Leto.
I don't know the movie. I went to bed.
I don't know. But apart from that, that's the TVs.
Another important thing that you see there is the M&M's.
Big, big packet.
Our singer, Chris, he is addicted to these things.
There are worse things to get addicted to, so it's just M&M's.
We're good.
But you can't always eat just M&M's.
You have to stay healthy, get your vitamin C in, especially in the winter.
So we have these, limes, oranges.
We have some nuts for healthy fats.
We have the protein powders, normal one, plant-based one, which is mine.
Because you never know how the nutrition is going to go.
So better be safe than sorry.
This is an unfinished Coke Zero.
Probably also our singer's, because he forgets his Coke Zeros everywhere.
As you can see, the Diet Coke here, it's in this gaffer tape when you're driving.
This can slide off if it's like that.
This slides off because there's no rubber mat.
And everything gets wet and sticky and stuff.
So if you have this, it's basically a cup holder.
We could also put it in the cup holder, but that's too easy.
As far as snacks go, we have our drummer and our keyboard player, Garrett and Nick.
That's their snacks.
They have a dedicated beer drawer.
It's a ride.
We have other snacks here, Haribo Gold beers, small bag of Skittles.
Most important thing of touring is the coffee machine.
I don't know.
These aren't a thing in Germany.
We're from Germany.
Keurig machines, we don't have that.
So we're happy to have that on the bus, because they're great.
I think it is.
We have more snacks, bread, a toaster, microwave.
And actually, the biggest fridge that I have ever seen in a tour bus.
We haven't been on these many tour buses in the US, but it's pretty great.
It's filled with soft drinks, Capri Sun, cottage cheese, light mayonnaise,
spare some fats, all the plant milks you can get, regular milk, baking soda.
I don't know why.
I just heard it's for the smell.
It takes odors out.
Well, then it didn't get used yet.
I don't know.
Oh, actually, one of our crew guys put gummy bears in here.
I don't know, that he just wants them to last longer, I guess,
and suck on them instead of chew them.
I don't know.
Maybe it's a good trick.
Try that later.
We have a very mundane bathroom, where you can only, obviously,
you heard that a lot on digital tour buses, but you can only go pee.
There's nothing else semi-solid or solid going in there.
Just pee.
Important.
Otherwise, the tour will be over.
Then we have this table here, which is convenient.
Not every tour bus has a table.
This one has not only one, but two tables.
In the back lounge, there's another one.
This usually is our media person's guy, his table,
where he does his editing, his whatever, and makes us look great, essentially.
That's where he is, but he's in the venue right now, so there's only like...
Oh, photos from our last time in the US in Chicago at Riot Fest.
It's a lot of close-ups from Chris, our singer.
Cute.
And there's a Harry Potter bag.
Our other guitar player, Benji, he's a huge Potterhead,
and he went to a Harry Potter store.
And whatever has been here isn't there anymore.
I can look up.
There's it.
What did he buy?
This is very private.
I hope it's all right.
That's the target receipt.
Let's go to Bung Alley.
This is where everyone fights over the temperature.
Battlefield.
This is the battlefield.
Currently, it's on 73 Fahrenheit.
I don't know what's that in Celsius, but that's the perfect temperature to me.
It sometimes is on 88.
I don't know why, but our singer Chris likes it warm.
Very warm.
You could say too warm.
He says almost too cold.
But yeah, these are the bunks, which is funny.
Always funny to us because we have these three bunks here on top of each other.
In Europe, you usually get two bunks on top of each other,
and more, but buses are like double-deckers.
So the bunks are...
Bung Alley is on the second floor, so to speak.
But this is nice as well, and they're huge in my opinion.
This is mine.
There's nothing special in here.
I always see people having these fixtures for their iPad or iPhone or whatever.
I don't have that yet.
Maybe I will get to it on the next tour.
The most important thing, which a friend told me I should get, is a neck pillow.
I'm not that old yet, but I'm old enough to need a neck pillow.
So shout out to neck pillows.
They make my life very easy.
Other than that, there's just clothes to keep me warm at night.
If this goes below 70, I don't know why it would, but sometimes it does.
I have my watch in here, so it stays in here.
Won't move that.
That's the bunks.
There's no junk bunk.
We are completely filled to the brim with people.
We try to keep it as tidy as possible, but once we move now to the back lounge,
you will see how much of a job, of a good job, we're doing.
So let's go to back lounge.
Oh, it's all right, I gotta say.
I mean, it's not neat and tidy, but it's also not horrible.
This I just put here because it's my jacket, and we have here radios for crew.
Almost all of them are taken.
Some of them are just spare.
These are my workout clothes from this morning because I went to the gym,
which was nice here in Chicago.
Spare blankets because, as I told you, our last bus broke down,
and since it was ******* cold in there, can I swear?
Since it was ******* cold in there, we bought, I think,
20 blankets from Walmart, warm blankets, to somehow save ourselves.
It kind of worked, but yeah.
I don't know why, how we didn't get sick, but we managed,
probably because of all the vitamin C and the M&Ms.
Then what we have here are some gifts from fans,
which was nice.
There are shirts in there.
I mean, they're only the shirts in there left,
all of the other gifts I took out because I took them out.
What I didn't take out, put that back in there,
what I didn't take out yet because I have gloves,
we were gifted hand warmers, which comes in very handy.
I mean, I need to keep my hands warm because guitarists,
they need to stay loose, so they might come in handy still,
even though we have a warm bus now.
What's left back here is some junk,
the rest of the junk we try to keep in here,
so we try to stay tidy.
There's barely anything in it yet.
I don't know, probably in the venue, all of it.
Check on that.
It's everything in the venue,
so it will be filled to the brim later this night.
What we're left with is this place.
This is tour manager Allie.
Basically, this is Brian's place.
Brian is our tour manager.
He does a great job, but this doesn't get touched.
No one else sits here except for me right now.
This is his place to do all the tour managing he has to do.
We do have a shower in here.
However, this shower doesn't get used
because we are in the comfort and luxe.
We are in the privileged position to play venues
except for one that have showers.
Even if it's just one,
we try to have everyone shower at the end of the night there,
so we all rush through it.
No one takes their 30 minutes of shower thoughts time.
Doesn't work, even though we're covered in makeup.
Get it off quickly.
We're used to it.
We can do it in like two minutes,
and we do that usually so our crew can shower as well
because they're the hardest working people in the room, not us.
They have to load in these temperatures.
They have to do all that,
and they deserve a warm shower,
so whatever warm water we can save for them, we should.
With all that covered, I think that's about it.
That's our bus.
That's where we will be hanging out for the next one and a half weeks still,
and I will gladly do it
because I appreciate it on such a different level now
since the last broken bus,
and you are always happy to hang out here,
so if you want to stay, you can sit down.
I will just go back to the venue now, play a show
because that's what we're here for.
We're on tour.
Dark Winter Tour together with Birthday Massacre and Wednesday 13,
and we have an album to promote still.
It's called Opus Noir Volume 1, 2, and 3.
1 and 2 are out.
Volume 3 will be out on April 10, 2026.
It was wonderful to have you here,
and see you in a few years on the next bus.
