wow that's gorgeous welcome to the wedding series trying on wedding dresses i have been so excited to start the series this is going to be the first time i'm going to be trying them on and i'm actually in LA if you can't tell from the palm trees in the back i'm here for a work trip there's actually a wedding dress brand that i absolutely have been obsessed with and they're based in LA so i thought since i'm here i am going to try them on there is one in particular that has really caught my eye it might be the dress that i'm going to get even though this is the first showroom that i'm going to i'm actually going to be going alone samson's going to be driving me there since it's just the two of us in LA for this trip i am just going to go alone because obviously he's not going to be coming with me i think it will be really fun regardless and i'm excited to take you guys along with me the first stop of my wedding dress shopping journey is SYNC LA and i was so excited for this appointment the first dress we tried on is actually the one that i had wanted to go in for and this is called the gale and it's the most stunning stunning stunning dress i couldn't believe it when i put it on how perfect it fit i loved everything about it honestly this was definitely in my top five probably my top three and it's so funny that it's the first dress that i tried on but i love this part about the sleeves where you can have one up one down you can spread it out like this i feel like this dress would be absolutely perfect for a garden wedding or a wedding in Tuscany i can just imagine the vibes and although this is not the one i went with i absolutely love this and you guys i already said yes to a dress but obviously i'm not going to show it in this video but these were just some of the dresses that i tried on that i absolutely loved and i really wanted to share with you the second dress i tried on from SYNC was this beautiful beautiful drop waist i love the details of it you can also tuck in the straps all of SYNC bridal's dresses are just so ethereal i feel like a fairy in it a princess in it and i love this brand so much i love the way that this dress flowed i just wasn't really a fan of the top part i felt like it wasn't very me next we tried on this beautiful beautiful dress like look at this entire train this is so dramatic but i love it this was definitely a dress that was so fun to try on and although i didn't go with it it's not completely my style i appreciate the intricate work so much just look at that train i can't get over it if you guys are starting to do a wedding dress shop i highly highly recommend SYNC bridal i had such an amazing experience overall and even though i went alone it just felt so incredibly welcoming next up we have this incredible dress love the way that this flowed this was so beautiful i thought the way that it hugged my body was so nice and i really like the asymmetrical detail which is why i tried on this next one it has a similar neckline an asymmetrical neckline but the bottom was a little bit more simple which is what i like tried it on with a veil just to get the whole effect and with the veil i truly felt like such a bride this was my first time wearing a veil and let's just say the veil was absolutely beautiful too something about the neckline the simplicity of it it felt very timeless and that is what i'm going for something timeless something classic this next dress is another dress that i was really considering this was my second favorite along with the first one that i showed you guys from SYNC bridal i loved how the drop waist fit on me and one thing that i wasn't crazy about was the neckline it had a little bit of a curve to it but i just felt like the dress was so incredibly elegant and we tried it on with the veil as well i just love the details of the dress and through this appointment since it was my first bridal appointment i began to understand what i'm looking for for my dress and what i like which was really really helpful so i definitely recommend trying on different styles this next dress was another piece that i tried on for fun it's definitely not very me but so fun to try on i love all the lace details on it with the scarf with the gloves it was overall such a successful first bridal fitting back in new york and we have another appointment today meeting my friends michelle and isabel there so we'll see we'll be fine today i'm a little nervous for some reason but excited at the same time my second bridal fitting was at PRONOVIAS in new york city and this was such a beautiful store we walked around first and chose a few gowns the sales associate that helped me was so incredibly sweet and patient with me she tried to understand which styles i was looking for and i told her that i wanted something classic and timeless but i'm open to trying on different silhouettes because i haven't really found exactly what i'm looking for they had a few PRONOVIAS x vera wang dresses that we tried as well and this was such an exciting appointment just because it was my first time going with my friends and it was so nice to see their reactions while i tried on dresses are you excited? yeah oh i can't tell the pieces like from just the hanger you know yeah i have to like try it on you just like clean cuts yeah yuyan is currently trying first turban oh pretty okay it has pockets oh it has pockets that's so pretty this was such a beautiful dress and i began to realize i really like strapless the only thing is i didn't like the edges of the dress and i feel like that's really important when you try on the dresses that it feels something that's true to you and your style i think it's very beautiful and classic yeah the one thing is like my neckline this next dress we tried on was a PRONOVIAS x vera wang these that i tried on definitely felt more bridal than the ones that i tried on from sync bridal these are definitely more like classic bride dresses oh i love that i love the pleats in the front yeah i love this one i think it's very beautiful the only thing is the neckline i don't love this part and this one too has pockets i love the pockets that's what you put smack the third one that we tried on was probably my favorite from that day i really love the straight neckline and i began to realize you know the little details that i love more than others i also really love that it has pockets such a great little touch i like the neckline i don't mind this the ripped fabric i think if this was the bottom of like the last one it would be better because it's like going horizontal and going straight yeah onto the next dress this one i really loved how it looked it was so simple and beautiful it made me realize that i really love clean and minimal silhouettes especially for the main dress i feel like for the reception or the party dress i can do something a little bit more dramatic but for the main ceremony dress i really just wanted something clean and timeless like this i can see from the picture here beautiful i love this one i think it's beautiful oh my god we say love it yeah we continued to try on some other options this one had a sweetheart neckline which i really really love as well we also wanted to play with some accessories like adding this lace piece on top which makes the dress so different and it really just elevates it and i feel like adding accessories on top is so fun because you can take it off and you can have a completely different look i love this i actually really love the lace this was definitely a piece that i didn't think i would love because at first i was like no lace i'm not really into it but once i tried on this lace piece on top i completely changed my mind and i was like i can actually see myself wearing lace for my wedding this next dress was one that my friend isabel she really wanted to see on me and i thought it was just so much fun to try on you're only doing this whole wedding dress shopping journey once and you never know what silhouettes you might like and this was again just a piece that i really enjoy trying on and even though i'm not gonna pick it it's really fun to see how it looks on a few days later we went to danielle franco which is one of my most excited appointments i love her designs i love how danielle franco's designs are very timeless and traditional but they always have a little bit of a twist the first dress that we tried on was this beautiful piece although i love this one so much i felt like it was more of a rehearsal dinner look or a second look but this dress was so so stunning on and it felt very dreamy and ethereal the next dress was this off the shoulder trumpet sleeve satin dress and this was so beautiful as well this was a dress that was definitely pinned on my pinches board for some time and i just love everything about it it fits beautifully i love the satin on it and ultimately i realized i am such a satin girl we tried on another long sleeve dress and this one had sheer sleeves which i thought was so special because you can see the jewelry peeking through i tried this on with a veil as well and again i just felt like such a bride and it's crazy to see yourself with a veil because it really feels like wow like this is happening i'm getting married wow oh my gosh this was a two-piece set that i fell in love with i love the way that the skirt flows and the top was just incredible however i did feel that the top felt more of an event top and i wanted to see how it would look with a more simple skirt maybe for a second look or for rehearsal dinner and i really liked how it looked with a sleek satin skirt like this and again i just really love satin we decided to try for a whole satin look so this is the satin top and a satin skirt it's a two-piece again and this was beautiful i thought it was so incredible and i love the neck scarf on top of it it really just pulled the whole look together i truly fell in love with every single piece i tried on at danielle frankel and i could not pick which one's my favorite we tried on some ball gown this one had a really cool bubble hem in the bottom and i think i like more of a train kind of look so we decided to try on this one this one had a drop waist detail and i think it photographs so beautifully but i do think this is a piece that is a little bit more trendy right now and i'm not sure how timeless it would be later on but i thought it was so beautiful and i felt absolutely stunning in it we are at vera wang anything you see in eye cream you need to do to always do a little eye cream the last appointment for this video is none other than vera wang i feel like as a little girl we all dream about wearing a vera wang dress for our wedding day and i had to go to this appointment to try on a few dresses we started off so incredibly strong with this beautiful dress this is called octavia and this was in my top three honestly guys because everything about this dress when i put it on i was like wow oh my god i think this is the one this is so nice my friends were also like i think this might be the one and after i tried on this dress i was like i think i really love ball gowns and tulle which i didn't expect i was highly considering this dress i felt like this really might be the one we tried it on with bales and because of this we tried on a few more ball gowns as well this one was an even bigger ball gown like look at all that tulle i didn't really love the neckline here i feel like the v didn't really suit me that well but this dress was beautiful and i can definitely see it being so beautiful on other brides next up was a lace piece and like i was saying guys before i didn't think i would like lace but the vera wang lace was completely different it changed my mind we threw on this tulle piece on top of the lace which made it feel a little bit more delicate a little bit more dreamy another strapless piece i think i really love strapless and this one was so nice with a neck scarf i love the way that it fanned out and the train on it we also tried it on with this cape which again the accessories really really make the dress sometimes and i thought this looked so incredibly elegant this one was probably one of my favorites at vera i loved how the skirt flowed and i really love that they added these dramatic sleeves which made it just look so ethereal on i love this actually i love it with the sleeves and last but certainly not least the fun dress of the day and it was this incredible and dramatic piece like i said i have found my dress already and i can't wait to share more with you guys i will be sharing a part two of wedding dress shopping very soon i hope you
