And joining us now is Casey Fleming, an internationally recognized authority on
national security, counterintelligence, and strategic risk. He is also the author of the
book The Red Tsunami, The Silent Storm Killing Your Freedom. Casey, good afternoon. Always good
to speak with you. So, as you know, the Strait of Hormuz is virtually empty for the third
consecutive day today, and this is due to the blockade and Iran's threats. How much is this
hurting China, Casey? Significantly. China gets most of his oil from Strait of Hormuz.
They'll have to go elsewhere, even to the west coast of the United States to get their oil.
So it's definitely choking them from an energy perspective, the same thing that happened
when we went after Venezuela. So the other thing is, most people need to understand,
we're not just dealing with Iran here. Iran is calling headquarters, which is the Chinese
Communist Party. So the negotiation that we're doing right now, the face card is Iran,
but the Chinese Communist Party is behind it. Okay, so about the Strait of Hormuz, you're saying
it's dealing a significant amount of pain to China. So Chinese regime leader Xi Jinping today
called for normal passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz, saying this serves the common
interests of the international community. So this is what he said. But if you remember, just a few
days ago, China vetoed a UN Security Council resolution to secure international navigation
in the Strait of Hormuz. So what is going on here? How do you explain this discrepancy?
It's typical CCP. They play all sides. They play to everybody's forward-looking information,
but underneath the table, they're always officiating a separate game. It's always a
shell game with the Chinese Communist Party, and it's also a shell game with the IRGC.
So how does this tactic benefit China? Why does it do this?
They want to be seen as the global peacemaker to replace the United States. At the same time,
they want to officiate and they want to make sure that their demands and their strategy is
taken care of. So that's why they play two sides of the same coin.
And that's whenever you're dealing with the Chinese Communist Party. Remember,
they never honor anything that they ever commit to.
But looking at demographics like China's aging population, its shrinking workforce and debt,
real estate issues, do you think these are any obstacle in the way of its ambitions?
They are obstacles, but they're not obstacles that can't be overcome. Remember, anything
that an economy has as far as warts can be completely cured with a war. A war resets a
country's economics. And then secondly, they're using AI, the manufacturing capability that we
taught them decades ago. And we're talking drone swarms now. We're talking AI. We're talking
biological warfare. We're talking about an enemy that has no value for human life,
let alone their own population's human life. So don't think that a poor economy or a struggling
economy or a reduced population is going to slow the Chinese Communist Party down.
They're making plans around that piece of it with unrestricted warfare. And they have a use
of technology.
