Hello and welcome to Watch Releases Recap, a weekly YouTube show where we talk about the
latest watches being released. My name is Oleg and that right there is Mr. Bond.
Now, let's talk about the new Cartier Santos Dumont collection.
Now for 2026, we got a trio of new models. One is made out of platinum and two are made out of
yellow gold. All of them feature exactly the same dimensions, 43.5 x 31.5 x 7.3 mm case height.
As I mentioned, there are three different models available. Out of the three, my favorite is
probably the yellow gold with a white dial. I really like that. And of course, the standout
feature of this year's release is this bracelet. I think it just makes it look so damn interesting.
As far as the movement powering this watch, it's the same for all three versions,
caliber 430MC, which is a hand-wound Piaget-based movement that beats at 3 Hz and it comes with
38 hours of power reserve. And as far as the pricing and availability goes,
these are very expensive watches. As you can imagine, the cheapest one on the bracelet,
the yellow gold on a bracelet is something like $50,000 and the platinum on a bracelet is something
like $62,000. And next, let's talk about the new IWC Engineer Automatic 42 in dark olive green
ceramic. We got a few IWC Engineer models released this year. However, this one here
was the standout to me. I think it looks so damn interesting. So, it is based on the model
previously released, but it was only available with the black dial and made out of black ceramic.
Now, it's available in a dark olive green zirconium ceramic, which looks really sharp
and it has a matching colored dial. As far as all the other specs go, they stay pretty much the same.
It still features the same case, 42 mm diameter, 11.5 mm case height, powered by the in-house
caliber 82110, which is an automatic movement that beats at 4 Hz and it comes with 60 hours
of power reserve. And as far as the pricing and availability goes, this model will be part of the
standard collection and it's priced at 22,000 Swiss francs. Another IWC watch I want to highlight
is this big Pilot Perpetual Calendar Serralume, where the Engineer was a cool watch and I wanted
to highlight it because I really liked it. This watch right here, to me, makes no sense. It is
based on other Pilot watches that IWC has created, including other watches made out of the Serralume,
where the whole case, the dial and the strap are all glow-in-the-dark, they're all luminescent,
which looks really cool in the dark. However, take a look at this watch in a daylight. It's so
difficult to read and these are probably the best photos of it. Imagine trying to read this at an
awkward angle. It's pretty much impossible. So a watch like this looks really cool on the marketing
materials, it looks really cool as sort of novelty at night, but during the day it's pretty much
useless. It's very difficult to read, so I think a bit of a miss for IWC. And if it wasn't so damn
hard to read, this would actually be a pretty cool timepiece. It features a 46.5 mm diameter,
almost 16 mm case height, and it's made out of Serralume with 100 meters of water resistance.
The movement powering this watch is super impressive caliber 52616, which is a movement
that beats at 4 Hz and it comes with an impressive 7-hour power reserve. And it is, of course,
a perpetual calendar with the double moon phase complication and a power reserve display.
As far as the pricing and availability goes, this will be a limited edition to 250 pieces
and the watch is priced at 65 000 Swiss francs. Next, let's talk about the new Grand Seiko SBGY043.
Grand Seiko knows how to put together a beautiful looking watch. This model right here is just an
example of that. I really love this dial. I also really like the dimensions of the watch.
Pretty conservative 38.5 mm diameter, 10.2 mm case height, with 30 meters of water resistance,
which is a bit of a letdown. I wish this watch had at least 100 meters. That would make it a
really good go anywhere, do anything type of a timepiece. As far as the movement powering this
watch is the caliber 9R31, which is an in-house manual wound sprint drive movement that comes with
72 hours of power reserve and it is accurate to plus or minus 1 second per day. And as far as the
pricing and availability goes, this will be part of the standard catalog. This is not a limited
edition watch and it's priced at 10 000 euro. While we're on the subject of Grand Seiko, the
next one I want to highlight is the reference SBGH376. This is possibly the best looking watch
released at Watches and Wonders 2026. I think it's gorgeous. Again, Grand Seiko really knows
how to put a good looking watch together if you're into this style. The dial alone is a huge standout
but even the case features that zuratsu polish but it's made out of yellow gold. The dimensions
are reasonable 38 millimeter diameter 12.9 millimeter case height with a 44.5 millimeter
lug to lug distance. The movement powering this watch is the in-house caliber 9S85, which is a
high beat movement that beats at 5 hertz and it comes with roughly 55 hours of power reserve.
It is also a pretty accurate movement plus 5 minus 3 seconds per day. Now this watch will not be a
limited edition, which I'm really glad about. A lot of times these beautiful watches are Europe
exclusive or North America exclusive or just a limited quantity but this one is part of the
catalog and it is priced at 33 500 euro. An expensive watch but very beautiful. And lastly,
let's talk about a couple of new Grand Seiko Evolution 9 divers with the spring drive
movement. Grand Seiko does these beautiful everyday timepieces, beautiful dress watches,
but their sports collections always sort of lag behind and the diver watches specifically were
not very desirable mainly due to their sizing. There were these monsters 46 millimeters 44
millimeters that average person doesn't really want. Well now for 2026 they're finally listening
to the feedback from the customers and giving us something a lot more reasonable. These two new
models are coming in a 40 millimeter diameter, they're about 12.9 millimeters in case height,
and they're made out of high density titanium. There are two different versions available,
one with the blue dial, one with the green dial. Out of the two I prefer the green, I think that
looks really beautiful. As far as the movement powering this watch is the spring drive caliber
9RB1 which features 72 hours of power reserve and an impressive accuracy of plus or minus 20 seconds
per year. Very very accurate movement. The water resistance is 300 meters and the price of this
watch is 12 and a half thousand euro. That is the big letdown of this model. Everything else about
it is very beautiful but 12 and a half grand, yeah it's getting up there for these watches.
Let's move on from Grand Seiko and talk about the new Zenith Chronomaster Sport
skeleton. Zenith Chronomaster Sport is one of my favorite chronographs on the market. I think it
punches well above its price especially if you find one on the grey market or if you get a good
discount from the AD. They're relatively easy to get with about 30 to 40 percent discount which
makes them very good value for money proposition. Now for 2026 we got four new variants with
skeletonized dials. Now skeletonized dials are not going to be everyone's cup of tea.
In the past I didn't really like skeletonized dials but for whatever reason lately I've been
getting more and more into them. Don't get me wrong I would still prefer the standard version
over the skeletonized version but I'm glad that the skeleton one exists especially with the green
bezel. I think that looks really sharp. As far as the dimensions of the watch they stay the same
made out of stainless steel with a 41 millimeter diameter and 13.6 millimeter case height.
These watches feature 100 meters of water resistance and they're powered by the caliber
El Primero 3600 SK. SK stands for the skeletonized version of this movement
that beats at 5 hertz and it comes with 60 hours of power reserve and of course this is one of the
best chronograph movements on the market. As I mentioned there are four different versions
available of this watch two stainless steel versions priced at around 16 and a half thousand
euro there's also the 18 karat rose gold version that's priced at 31 000 euro and you also have
the one with the diamonds that's a limited edition to 10 pieces and that one is priced at 111 000
euro. I think 16 and a half thousand euro is quite a bit of money for this watch in fact it's too
much but wait a few months maybe a year and it will start popping up with really good discounts
just like a standard model does and at that point I think it's a really good watch. Next let's talk
about watches that don't really have too much discount on the secondary market the new Rolex
2026 models. I decided not to do a separate video for Rolex releases this year because they're a
little bit underwhelming and also I don't know you can't really buy these watches new anyways right
so what's the point if you want to buy them on the resale market you have to pay an arm and a leg
especially for these models so let's quickly go through them. First one is this new Daytona
reference 125602 which is a Daytona with an enamel dial and a display case back those are the really
two things that make this watch different there's also a slightly different bezel but that's pretty
much it the movement part of this watch is still the same and it features the same dimensions
however the price has been raised quite significantly if you can get one at the AD it's
about 56 000 euro. Next up is the Day-Date 40 in jubilee gold which looks really good and it has
baguette diamonds and a green dial again very handsome watch but not exactly my cup of tea and
it features exactly the same dimensions as the standard Day-Date 40. The next one up is actually
in my opinion the most interesting release from all Rolex models this year is the Oyster Perpetual
41 the 100th anniversary edition. I actually really like this watch it has this yellow gold bezel
with yellow gold accents and a yellow gold crown the rest of the watch is made out of oyster steel
it's not exactly stainless steel but it is stainless steel the 904L instead of 316L you all
know the story. The two things that make this watch different first of all the color combination
secondly where it says swiss made it has 100 years written in that spot by the six o'clock position
and also the crown is marked with 100 years which is kind of unique this watch I think will be very
difficult to get and it is priced at around 9400 euro but again on the resale market this probably
will be like 30 grand. The 36 millimeter version is also available and speaking of 36 millimeter
versions let's talk about the Oyster Perpetual 36 multicolor jubilee dial this is not my cup of tea
by any means the only thing that's different between this model and the standard Oyster
Perpetual is the dial apparently this dial is very difficult to execute to create this pattern
nevertheless as I said it's not really for me there is a couple of new Oyster Perpetuals in
34 and 28 millimeter diameters made out of solid gold there's also the new 41 millimeter Dayjust
green ombre dial that looks really sharp actually I like this color combination and it's just a new
color added to already existing line of watches the 41 millimeter Dayjust always a classic and
I'm sure this one will be very popular and lastly there's the new generation of Yachtmaster 2 with
a slightly different movement and a different way to sort of execute the regatta style timer
but everything else about the watch remained pretty much the same and it is not surprising
that Rolex has brought this model back into the catalog and that's pretty much it for the Rolex
releases this year now let's move on to the sister brand Tudor and just like Rolex I'm a bit
underwhelmed with Tudor releases this year so first let's talk about the new Black Bay 58
in gilt with the jubilee bracelet they're calling it the five-link bracelet but we all know it as
the jubilee it also features this new movement the MATA certified movement instead of the COSC
certified movement now it is the caliber MT5400U made by Kinesi it beats at 4 hertz and it comes
with 65 hours of power reserve and of course it has great anti-magnetic resistance everything else
the watch is pretty much exactly the same as the standard version but it is also now available
on the five link or the jubilee style bracelet I will also mention that there is the new bracelet
available for the coke GMT the 58 GMT but with the coke bezel that was the big release it's not
really a new model well they're calling it a new model but it is essentially a new bracelet available
for that model but you could get an aftermarket bracelet for many years already the most
exciting one is actually this one here the full ceramic with the ceramic bracelet Black Bay 41
and Tudor did have the Black Bay available in ceramic case but never with the ceramic bracelet
now it's available in a ceramic case with a ceramic bracelet which is actually pretty impressive
especially at this price range this one is priced at around 6300 swiss francs which is not exactly
cheap but you do get quite a bit for your money that ceramic case with the ceramic bracelet 41
millimeter diameter 13 and a half millimeter case height and a 49 millimeter black distance
this one is powered by the caliber MT5602 which is a METAS certified movement that beats at 4
hertz and it comes with 70 hours of power reserve the next release is the Tudor Black Bay 54
all blue these watches look really sharp it is essentially a new color variation of existing
line of watches the smaller Black Bay which i think is pretty cool i am actually a big fan of
these watches especially how they wear and lastly there's the new Tudor Monarch for brand's 100th
anniversary a bit of an underwhelming release if you were to ask me this watch here looks kind of
interesting i'm not a big fan of the california style dial also the sub seconds looks a little
bit off to me i don't know what it is but this watch just looks kind of weird it's not really
my cup of tea but if you like it you like it i was just hoping for something else something sort
of bigger for Tudor's 100th anniversary 2026 is that year so hopefully we'll see something later
on in the year as we know Tudor likes to release watches sort of throughout the year not just for
watches and wonders as far as the case and the dimensions for this new Monarch go it's made out
of stainless steel it's 39 millimeters in diameter 11.9 millimeters in case height with a 46 millimeter
distance and 100 meters of water resistance the movement part of this watch is the MT5662-2U
which is a COSC and MATAS certified movement that beats at 4 hertz and it comes with roughly 65
hours of power reserve and as far as the pricing and availability of this watch goes it's priced
at around 4800 swiss francs next let's talk about the new Horace Atelier Complication Collection
Horace is one of my favorite watch brands because they keep on releasing these interesting models
have of course their pilot watches their diver watches but their dress watches are also pretty
good looking like this new collection it comes in reasonable case dimensions 39.5 millimeter diameter
11.8 millimeter case height made out of stainless steel it only features 30 meters of water resistance
which is a bit disappointing the movement powering this watch is the Horace Caliber 782 which is
based on the Sellita movement it's not an in-house movement it beats at 4 hertz and it has 41 hours
of power reserve of course this is a moon phase complication movement with the moon phase at the
12 o'clock position overall i am a big fan of how this watch looks and the pricing is also fairly
reasonable this watch is around 2500 swiss francs on the bracelet or 2300 swiss francs on the strap
and that's it for the watches i wanted to cover from watches and wonders 2026 this week at least
we might come back to more releases next week plus cover new releases please subscribe so you
miss those videos when they do come out also give this video a thumbs up if you enjoyed it
and today on my wrist i'm wearing the Rolex Submariner two-tone i've had this watch for
many years and i think i did a full review i did a video about it at least you can find it
