Verstappen Stops! Problems With Mercedes Could Take Away Victory At The Nurburgring

Max Verstappen saw his chances of victory in Qualifying Race 2 at the Nürburgring end with a problem in the front of his Mercedes car. The driver took the #3 car to the pits and, in what appeared to be a driver swap with Lucas Auer, showed that something was wrong when the team pulled the car into the garage. The mechanics immediately began working on the GT3 model.

The schedule continues with Qualifying Race 2 of the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, the last opportunity for teams and drivers to adjust strategy and consolidate positions before the main race. On a long, technical and unpredictable circuit like the Nordschleife, each lap is a unique challenge, with heavy traffic and simultaneous battles in several categories.

Once again, all eyes will be on Max Verstappen, who is participating in the event amidst a highly competitive grid.
