A big ACL2 quarterfinal between Al-Wazl and Al-Nasr promises fireworks
as both are gunning to lift the trophy for the first time.
Al-Wazl can count on home advantage in Dubai, but it's Al-Nasr who are the form team.
And they hit the ground running as there's an early chance here for Cristiano Ronaldo
and the superstar grabs the opener on 11 minutes.
It was Coman with good work down the right-hand side, the pullback from Bouchal
and it's the Portuguese superstar's first goal in the competition.
Into the 17th minute as a shot here comes in from Pedro Malero
and Al-Wazl trying to react to falling behind early.
A couple of minutes later as Al-Nasr have been dangerous from set pieces so far.
It's another wicked delivery in and Inigo Martinez flicks home amongst the crowd there.
The next corner as it comes in and it's an Al-Amri header and this time it's saved by Mohamed Ali.
And it comes back in again now from João Felix and there it is 3-0.
Al-Amri was the target once more and it's João Felix's second assist and 3-0 to Al-Nasr.
Into the 30th minute as Al-Wazl here are on the break finally
and it's Jimenez to Palacios who guides his shot just wide.
Bento though surely had it covered.
33rd minute as there's lovely trickery here down the left Mane with the pullback
and Bouchal hammering over some cracking play by the big names in the Al-Nasr team.
At halftime it's one-sided, Al-Nasr lead 3-0.
Al-Wazl unable to get a foothold still in the second half as we see a free kick here
from Ronaldo into the wall and then on the follow-up it is fielded by the Al-Wazl keeper.
No real venom in the shot there from Ronaldo.
Now down the other end and Al-Wazl free kick here and Jimenez hammers it just over the bar.
Al-Nasr still well in control coming up towards the midway point in the second half
as we see Ronaldo played through in the left-hand channel.
Some skills from him here to make half a yard and fires the shot in
and it's beaten away by Muhammad Ali at the near post.
And the next action here as a deep ball comes in towards Ronaldo
and somehow he misses the header there from point-blank range.
That should have been the next goal for Al-Nasr.
Just over 10 minutes to go as Mane is played through brilliantly here.
And he hammers home the finish for 4-0.
It's brilliantly done by Mane.
There's no offside and that's 4-0 Al-Nasr.
