The look on my face is, holy s***, can you believe this?
I spent a lot of time feeling that way, but yeah, that's...
Um, this must be really early. I remember that hat from Soulless.
Not sure what I was thinking.
Oh, my overalls. Yeah, I lived in these overalls for about 10 years.
Yeah, I was keeping it real, dressing really casual once again.
Oh, Lilith.
Looks like Bonnie and I were sharing a quiet moment,
probably going, I'm so f***ing sick of these stupid questions.
Okay, this is Lilith, um, 1997, I think, or maybe 98, I could be wrong.
Lilith was so joyful because it was really about building community
to get to meet other women performers,
women musicians who were doing the same weird job that I was.
Okay, this is one of many, many, many nights of finale.
I would get all the artists who played throughout the day
to come on stage and do this kumbaya at the end of the night.
It was really, really fun.
And again, just a beautiful culmination of the energy of the day.
Natalie Merchant, who was just a joy to be around.
She had this gorgeous, peaceful, mama, mother earth energy.
Yeah, I loved her.
Oh, Brandy.
Brandy was up in the stands for the first Lilith, a teenager,
and here I am, you know, opening up for her now.
So very cool, very beautiful, full circle.
Well, this was just a couple nights ago at the Junos.
The incredible Joni Mitchell.
She's a hero of mine, a legend.
And to be able to perform for her, it was a real highlight.
38 years in a lot of incredible situations I never expected myself to be in.
