Ride To AZ Goldfield Mining Town

I just love the mystery of the West. It's windy today. Hopefully, it's not too loud on this microphone. In Phoenix, Arizona, I'm taking this beautiful road glide built by Paul Yaffe. Look at this thing. Absolutely gorgeous. Gonna go meet up my friend Lori. You guys remember her probably from my Mexico trip. Heck, I've ridden Mexico with her twice. And we're gonna go play in Arizona. A motorcycle vlog. I hope y'all are as excited as I am. Where are we at, Lori? We are at Goldfield Saloon. You've got to love Arizona, y'all. I just love the mystery of the West. Yeah, it is really rad. You never know what you're gonna find out here. Do you know how Goldfield got its name? How? There were piles of, what do you call it, tail shillings that had gold in them. And a big flood came through here and it washed all through this field. So, there's gold all out here. Go find the gold. And lots of side-by-sides. Wow. I wish I had my Polaris here. We'd go bomb out there. So cool. Alright, y'all. So, a couple friends have shown up. My boy Jason Sims. You guys might remember him from the motorcycle chase videos we did. A couple months ago. A couple months ago, man. And now you live down in this area. I do, yeah. Loving it, right? Best thing I've done in my life. We've got a couple veterans with us right now that just showed up to hang out. How's it going? I'm CJ with the Veteran Riders Motorcycle Club, Phoenix. And you were in my last video. Yeah, we went down to Mexico with Paul and Ari and Jay. That's right. We had a good time. It was my first time in Mexico. Mark is also with the Veteran Riders, Phoenix. And of course, my girl Lori. Check out this church, y'all. So, I'm just going to take you all around and show you what is Goldfield. Look at that. How cool is this? It is the Wild West. What's up, everyone? Fantastic day. Now, I've met Scott before. We met you in Sturgis. Sturgis, two years ago. And now you went from your bagger to an adventure bike. Yes, Africa Twin. How are you liking it? Fantastic bike. I really enjoy that bike. Whole different kind of adventure. Whole different riding, but so comfortable compared to a street glide. I got a Honda Davidson. That's what it is. A Honda Davidson. No, this is just too cool. I could live in here. I could, too. If we get a campground in this area, we need to build it out like this. All the cabins need to be old buildings like this. I happen to know a production designer who can make that happen. Oh, my girl Lori. She used to work for National Geographic, believe it or not. Big old cactus. Here's the old jail. The good news is it doesn't hold too many people. So, once it's full, you can get away with just about anything you want. You got nowhere to put you. Thank you. Your music's good. It just goes on and on. All little knick-knack stores. Old mining. Look at this. Old broken down cart. Old mine shaft. So cool. It's like just taking a step back in time. I believe I was born in the wrong area, y'all. And I also believe I need to come out here. I need to be in this area. It's one of my favorites. What do you got there? In case you ever need to use the outhouse. That'll wake you up in the morning. Jason. Got the R18. R18, yeah, baby. I got this bike last year. I love riding this thing. I mean, especially out here. The twisties, the up and down the hills. This thing is phenomenal. Early and built, baby. What a beautiful day for a ride, y'all. Absolutely perfect. Could not have asked for a better day. Got to spend some time with some old friends. Make some new friends. And show y'all one of the coolest spots right here in Arizona. I love, love that part of town. It's just east of Phoenix. The parts of Arizona that have that old western feel is just something I absolutely love. Hope y'all enjoyed riding along with me today.
