In 1994, Pascual Mairal was one of the inheritors of the traditional technique for making boxwood spoons, a craft widespread in our mountains until the mid-20th century, practiced in numerous factories dedicated to this work. In Las Almunias de Rodellar (Huesca), he showed me the manufacturing process step by step in his workshop.
