Tinder agrees to pay more than $60M to settle claims it overcharged for subscriptions

Dating app Tinder has agreed to pay more than 60 million dollars to settle claims it overcharged for subscriptions. The class action lawsuit accused the app of charging different prices for the same Tinder Plus premium service. Users over the age of 29 paid $19.99 a month, while younger users paid $5 less. A final approval hearing is set for May 20th, with eligible customers able to opt in for payment through mid-August.
