[Dance Practice] AKB48 – Colorcon Wink (Fixed Point Ver.)

The long-awaited full-length dance practice video [Fixed Point ver.] for AKB48’s 63rd single "Colorcon Wink," released on Wednesday, March 13, is finally here!

Choreographed by Maika Takeda—the creative mind behind many 48 Group hits—this single serves as Yuki Kashiwagi’s graduation song. Based on the concept of "Classic AKB48," the choreography evokes nostalgia with elements like the canon dance in the intro, where members form hearts while winking. In true AKB48 fashion, winks are woven throughout the entire performance to match the title.

The intricate, fast-moving formation changes represent the history of AKB48 and Kashiwagi’s constant presence at its center. The sight of members moving around her beautifully illustrates the many encounters and farewells she has experienced over the years. This performance, which only the current members could bring to life, tells the story of Kashiwagi’s journey with the group. It concludes with a wink from her iconic catchphrase—"Awake or asleep, it’s Yukirin World; I’m gonna make you fall for me!"—making it a stunning and fitting tribute for her final song.
