Monday will be a sun and cloud mix type of day with spotty showers likely, especially in the afternoon.
And now the 22 News Storm Team forecast. Good morning. I'm a storm team
meteorologist. Alexa Bianco forecast focus sun cloud mix today. We got windy
conditions, some spotty showers. Temperatures are into the eighties this
week, a big, big warm up and then showers most likely through friday
possible and even possibly even on sunday clouds and radar. We're seeing
dry conditions now. We did have some showers overnight, but that's now
pushing off the coast here. We're just seeing some lingering cloud coverage
throughout the morning. A bit. You can see here nine a.m. This morning,
we're gonna see that cloud coverage continue. It's gonna be more of a sun
cloud mix, mostly cloudy type of day, but there'll be some breaks of
sunshine in the afternoon a little bit, especially around three o'clock. We'll
start to see some sunshine peak through and scattered showers are possible in
the afternoon towards the evening, more in Franklin County and also the
Berkshires seeing around North Adams and spotty showers scattered. Nothing of
a washout, but could see a bit of a sprinkle showers, excuse me, around that
time frame. 11 o'clock we're starting to clear out. We'll see mainly clear
skies overnight heading into Tuesday morning and then more of a partly sunny
type of day for Tuesday. Some spotty showers are possible and also some
scattered thunderstorms as well as we go towards later on the day. That's
it. That's very likely because temperature will be pretty warm. We
have that wind coming from the west southwest and also do points can be
relatively high at this point to it because of how warm it's going to be
and it's mid afternoon. So we have that energy in that lift as we head in
towards later on the evening as well. 12 a.m. We do start to see that clear
out a bit starting off your Wednesday, a little bit on a drier note for some
spots and then by seven a.m. Though we do see some spotty showers are coming
through the Berkshires a little bit and more of an on and off type of day. So
we have more of those showers coming with the warm temperatures.
Unfortunately, wind gusts racing breezy conditions across the board today could
see up to 30 35 MPH in some spots to 20 to 25. It's cutting around this range,
but I think we'll be a little bit higher as we go throughout the mid
afternoon, especially high temps for today. Nice and warm. We're gonna be in
the low seventies, low upper sixties for some spots 68 in Pittsfield, 74 in
Springfield, 74 in Westfield, 17 orange and 72 in Greenfield. Not too bad to
start off your Monday and it's gonna be a little bit sunny out there.
Temperature tracker average high around this time of year about 60 degrees or
way above it for the next few days. And honestly, for most of the week, looking
at that 6 to 6 to 10 day temperature outlook, we're seeing basically this
warm bridge of warm air right? The northern tier of it. We're on the edge
of it, so that's why we're still seeing some of those scattered showers. But we
have basically this Burbuna high off the coast of the southeast here, and
that's where we're seeing such warm air. We have that coming from the
southwest as well. So we're that's gonna continue for most this week and
even heading into next week a little bit. So we're pretty much warm for most
of the northeast here. But all in all today, sun cloud mix windy, windy
conditions, spotty shower 70 to 74 is your range of highs. And then tonight,
mainly clear, breezy 52 to 58 is your range of lows. And here is the storm
team seven day forecast wind and showers today, 74 degrees 82 tomorrow.
We do have some of those scattered thunderstorms too, and then more of the
same on Wednesday, 83 degrees spotty showers as we go through a little bit
throughout the rest of the day. Thursday, another chance of showers
staying around 80 degrees upper seventies on Friday. Showers are
possible in the evening. Saturday we dry up a little bit. The upper seventies
still another chance of showers on Sunday in the low seventies. Stay
