And then Julian Agliardi, we just met him. He got third at FX Games in Salt Lake City.
He shows all the characteristics of a veteran pro.
He's going to be great for a long time, you can tell.
Gin Woo Onodera, Yokohama, Japan.
Everybody has been talking about this kid for years. His tech game is insane.
See, straight out the gate, big flip, frontboard fakie.
He's used to big contests.
And he gets a lot of love and support from his fans.
Gin Woo, kickflip, backflip, shove it.
This one is tall also, it's not small.
No, I was talking to a few people.
That was the first time we saw him in Street League.
He could have won, he was like one trick.
There you go, Gin Woo again.
Alright, and Gin Woo.
That level is just so high.
Yeah, you gotta go for the win.
If you even hope to get third.
Just missed the cut.
But he's having trouble with the burial heel right now.
It sounds like he wants to skate against his brother.
You're not buying it.
I'm not a part of this thing to skate, personally.
You can't flip back nose on the rail, you know.
Antonio's sitting on the bubble spot right now.
Okay, so Christian Jordan moving up into third place.
Kickflip low C would be cool.
Oh, Julian.
We're coming up to this.
One minute left.
Anybody can go at any time, right?
That's right.
Perfect switch flip for Christian Jordan.
Christian Jordan trying to get out of third place into the top two.
Or Gin Woo, or Julian.
Are those guys going to have to lose?
Those guys are going to have to lose.
Okay, and then you have a big flip frontboard.
Tail slides work better on square rails.
Maybe a couple of cricket grind tricks, but...
How about that one?
Kickflip backtail big spins, you know.
And that's how it works for his body.
And obviously, Naija's the GOAT of Street League.
Gin Woo is done.
He's got it locked up.
I would think Antonio needs another trick or two.
And he needs some help from Julian to bail.
He has a shot at it.
But I think he's moving pretty slow.
And if Gin Woo goes, then he's the start of the order.
Oh, switch front nose.
Big spins. People are skating.
Oh, off we go. And we're in.
Julian Agliardi kicking things off.
We're talking in the wild card jam.
He's so polished, he really is.
He's not getting lucky out here.
He's doing exactly the tricks he already knows how to do.
They're really good.
Starting off pretty strong with the kickflip backflip.
Getting a 6.5.
All right, Gin Woo has to start.
He has to get it going here.
It looks like he's set up on a different angle than the kickflip front blunt.
Whoa!
Is that a make?
That was a make.
Probably doesn't want it to be a make.
Because remember, you can't repeat tricks.
Let's see if he kept his feet on it.
Backtail kickflip.
Yeah, that's a make.
Never put a hand down.
No, but severely docked.
Kareem.
That's hype.
I don't even know Big Cat's name.
What's his name?
Do we know each other? I would remember you, but I don't.
And I was like, he's that nice.
Gin Woo gets it done here on his final attempt.
Double backside flip down the big set.
So I'm happy that he gets to skate out of here with a smile on his face.
Because there's nothing worse than finishing with five bails in a row.
Before, but still.
Backside double flip.
What a crazy trick to just be able to do in a contest.
Beautiful.
So Gin Woo.
Sticking the backside double flip on his first ever SLS final.
Good to see him out here.
8.9.
It's only good enough to move him to 7th, but it beats 10th.
Julian Agliardi now in the cellar.
Needs a 9.3 just to move him to 6th.
Oh, big spin hurricane makes it.
Man, the kids just caught the rhythm a little too late.
But strong finish from our wild card qualifiers.
With some experience, these guys are going to be unstoppable.
It's not too far off, just a couple tweaks here and there.
Big spin hurricane to finish off a very strong day for Julian.
9 club.
Beautiful.
Big spin hurricane, good for a 9 even.
And that bumps Julian into 7th.
And Gin Woo, that bound a notch.
Such a hard trick.
We've seen people try the big spin hurricanes a lot in street league.
It can fall to the front board, you can slip out.
A lot has to go right to be able to do that one clean.
He did it perfect.
Getting a hug from Pops.
His dad, his whole family.
His brother, they all travel all over the place.
It's pretty awesome.
His brother's a ripping freestyler too.
It's pretty entertaining.
It's awesome.
