I Spent 4 Days Alone in Morocco’s Desert Canyons With Almost No Water
I spent four days alone in the remote canyons of Morocco’s Anti-Atlas.
I set out to explore remote desert canyons with almost no water, but what began as a simple mountain journey quickly became something far more intense.. dehydration, bad water, nights high above the valley, and moments that forced me to slow down and rethink everything.
Somewhere between dry riverbeds, hidden springs, endless rock corridors, and the first distant signs of civilization at dusk, the mountains stripped life down to what really matters.
Experiences like this have a way of giving perspective that nothing else can.
This film is a story about solitude, survival, and why the harshest places often make you feel the most alive.
🙏 Special thanks to Abdallah for giving me a place to stay and recover in the mountains, to Fatima for the beautiful Tamazight voiceover, and to Aboubakr for helping me with the opening text and for being such great company on the long, winding drive back from the mountains.
And more broadly, thank you to the people of Morocco for their incredible hospitality and warmth throughout this journey.
