We use simple, natural, and very cheap products.
We will go through five simple and efficient steps that any homeowner can apply without making major investments.
We will prepare a homemade border soil, adding natural ash rich in minerals,
Finally, we will apply homemade horticultural oil to combat pests that overwinter on the trees.
We carry out all these tasks after pruning the trees in the correct order and at the right time, so as to protect the trees from diseases and pests.
stimulates healthy development and helps it chew much better in the upcoming season.
Stay with us as we now show you the exact quantities, preparation methods, and correct application for each step.
so that you too can follow this complete treatment in your own garden and obtain abundant harvests and healthy fruit trees throughout the year.
Step 1. Prepare the border strip, which we apply after trimming.
To prepare bordereza zama, we need copper sulfate and hydrated lime, more specifically calcium hydroxide, slaked lime.
We still need a 5-liter container with 5 liters of water and a 10-liter container with 5 liters of water in it.
We will put 100 grams of copper sulfate into the 5-liter container with 5 liters of water, and 100 grams of hydrated lime into the 10-liter container with 5 liters of water in it.
We mix it well, then pour the copper sulfate solution over the lime solution and mix thoroughly to obtain Bordeaux mixture.
We will put this zinc borate solution into a spray pump.
Now let's go and spray the fruit trees, and you'll discover all the benefits it brings to the fruit trees.
We use border tape immediately after pruning trees because each cut is an open wound.
Zama bordereza acts as a natural disinfectant, cleans wounds, destroys fungal spores left behind after bark removal, and drastically reduces the risk of diseases.
powdery mildew, leaf spotting, leaf blighting, canker, and bacterial canker of fruit trees.
We use this solution after each spring pruning of the tree. It is advisable to apply this treatment to trees before they enter the growing season.
Step 2: Weeding the soil around the tree
Superficial aeration improves soil aeration, helping water penetrate more efficiently to the roots and stimulating the activity of beneficial microorganisms.
By tilling the soil, larvae of pests that overwinter in the ground can be brought to the surface, reducing the risk of subsequent attacks.
Step 3 Trunk Variation
Limewash protects the trunk from sudden temperature changes because the layer of lime reflects solar rays and prevents the tree's bark from cracking.
At the same time, it reduces favorable sites for pest infestation, and a protected trunk means a more resilient and healthier tree in the long term.
Step 4 Applying Natural Ash
This is a natural source of potassium and calcium, essential elements for tissue strength and for supporting fruiting in fruit trees that we apply ashes to.
It contributes to soil balance and creates a more favorable environment for tree development.
In addition to this ash, you have ants and certain pests at a distance, and if the ants do not climb the tree, we will have no aphids.
Attention, do not use more than three shovels of ashes around a tree.
Step 5 Prepare the horticultural oil
For this, we need vegetable sunflower oil and as natural dish soap as possible.
Put 200 ml of vegetable sunflower oil into a container, add one tablespoon of as natural as possible dishwashing detergent, and complete the volume to 1 liter with water.
After mixing it well, we will pour it over 9 liters of water and put it into a dilution pump.
About 7 days after applying the border spray, I apply this horticultural oil, which acts on the eggs and dormant stages of pests, reducing infestations before the trees enter vegetation.
These five steps, taken in order and at the right time, can make the difference between a sick tree and a healthy one, and between a fruiting tree and one that does not bear fruit.
And that's it, dear friends, for our video today. Let's hope you find it useful. Thank you very much for watching.
