Morning everyone! Oh, here I can put quite a lot. Nice.
This morning begins with a small tradition hiding chocolate eggs for my son.
Beautiful weather today. I have four more. All right.
I think it is last year when we do it. I don't think he believe in it.
Each small fun brings excitement and that pure joy that only children can feel.
Today feels like a perfect time to prepare a good meal.
I'm preparing the vegetables and Chris is in charge of the meat.
I decided also to prepare the pepperoni.
Grilled peppers are a classic Nigerian dish full of flowers and sunshine. There are not much today
of the sunshine but once you roast it you can take off their skin very easily and then you put
the garlic and herbs and olive oil and
lemon juice. This is my addition and all of this brings more aroma.
Oh my god!
It's a season of artichokes in Provence and you see ours are very small and they are also very tender
and you take off a lot of things a lot of leaves and you cut many things and at the end there are
not much to eat but it is in middle that more tender and have a great taste. Cut off and this
is what you eat. It's a season of artichoke now and I just wanted to share with you how I prepare
it and now we are preparing the barbecue outside and it will be like a side dish especially when
it's a season of artichoke. I wanted to show you how to prepare it because you see them they are
so beautiful like the flowers and you actually don't really know what to do with it. If you have
it in your place please share because I don't know where else you can see them now and we always
prepare artichoke à la barricule. It's a traditional dish from south of France especially from Provence
with the onion, garlic, artichoke, herbs, white wine and a little bit of bacon.
I remove the roses from the terrace it was too hot for them.
The barbecue is almost ready.
A very simple Provençal Easter lunch.
It's quite a lot just for three of us. We will eat it for a few days.
Normally you leave a little longer the grilled pepper like for three hours to let you know aroma.
It's so nice to be back home to our small village from the very big city of Paris.
We returned a couple of days ago and the difference is just crazy
and of course it's beautiful. I shared already a video of Montmartre and it's spring everything is
in flowers there and the weather is warm and we visited of course the Tour Eiffel and the Louvre
and we visited our family and it's very different from where we live and it's very refreshing to
see the contrast. Our village is not even a half of this garden for example
and of course we had so much fun visiting things around.
Even though we spend most of the time with the family
there are a couple of things in Paris that you can't miss to visit every time you're there.
Metro.
It's our last day and we are coming back to Cote d'Azur.
Do you want to stay here in Paris? No we're gonna go back home tonight. Actually now we're going to
finish vacation. See you in Cote d'Azur.
Wow the weather is very different and of course we're happy to come back.
Matt went back to school and not for long. In two days he will have a two weeks of vacation
so what are we gonna do? I haven't decided yet.
The beach, the sea, fishing. It's a beautiful spring and it's already very warm
and now you can truly enjoy the picnic on the beach or a day hiking. It's very quiet.
A different world. I'm also looking forward to having a smooth workflow during the
school vacation and because now it is time to capture all beauty around.
Thank you so much for watching. We'll see you soon. Take care.
